CNN | Opinion: What’s really working for Trump. *Vid at link*
cnn ^ | 01/17/24 | Julian Zelizer

CNN - Former President Donald Trump is a cultural phenomenon. His dominance in the Iowa caucuses over well-funded and high-profile competitors this week proved it. For his legion of passionate supporters, he is more than a politician. He is like a sports team or a rock band that helps define who they are as much as the families and communities to which they belong.

Republican rivals, led by former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, have been unable to shake the loyalty of voters to Trump. Indeed, the entire “anti-Trump” contingent in the party, from conservatives who want to replace him to the handful of moderates who want to purge everything he stands for, hasn’t shown it can move the needle. Trump keeps coming out on top.

Honesty, what’s working for Trump is his enemies using Lawfare ... very unfair.

And now my state Michigan will be voting for DJT this November without a doubt. And whenever Michigan votes GOP, they win (every time since 1976).

Biden is No 1 in promoting Trump’s political dominance.

Biden’s vengeful weaponization of the US govt against Trump has backfired brilliantly.

Biden is Trump’s devoted right-hand man.

Keep it up Joe.

Its like this Leftists. Just think of Trump as our Obama. Remember how you felt about Obama? We feel the same way about Trump.

The fact that the Establishment felt threatened enough to openly steal an election - and yes we knew immediately that it was stolen. President Trump didn’t “sell” us on that. You did by casting aside election integrity laws, insisting on mass mail in voting...STOPPING THE VOTE COUNT SIMULTANEOUSLY IN MULTIPLE SWING STATES, etc.

The fact that the Establishment feels threatened enough to engage in open lawfare with a series of obviously cockamamie cases brought in deep blue jurisdictions.....

The fact that the Establishment feels threatened enough to try to take him off the ballot - 3rd world style - in multiple blue states

as well as the fact that the Establishment made up a fake Russia Russia Russia claim and for the first time in history ran a counterintel operation against a presidential campaign

All show us he is for real. YOUR over the top hysterical reaction to him shows us he is exactly what we need - and we need to stuff 4 more years of TRUMP right down your throats. Nobody else will do. TRUMP. You deserve it good and hard.

“what’s working for Trump is his enemies using Lawfare ... very unfair.”

Yes. The more outrageous the judicial enemies act, the more normal people can identify with him. The trials are bad enough. But when the judge refused to work with Trump so that he could attend his MIL’s funeral, pretty much everyone could identify with him. That’s a basic humanity thing and something that most people see as unfair.

Maybe they’re planning to let the superdelegates pull the big switcheroo at the convention. Last thing they want is Harris as an incumbent president. That would make Trump even stronger.

Good take.

Delegates.....that’s a code word for Republican voter
fraud according to immaculate-hearted Democrats.

Its like telling your teenager what they are doing is not good for them and to stop it.

The Dems always overplay their hand.

The word is “charismatic”. Donald Trump has an abundance of charisma that is transferrable to those who choose to follow him.

There is no other politician bey he Democrat or Republican who comes any where near being as charismatic as former President Donald Trump. Charisma can’t be bought. Chrisma is innate.

And it is obvious to all, charisma is feared. Since day one, Trump’s enemies have worked mightily to destroy the charismatic awe of his followers.

They can persecute Trump. They can imprison Trump.

It won't matter.

STOPPING THE VOTE COUNT SIMULTANEOUSLY IN MULTIPLE SWING STATES, etc.

Who planned this, and who issued the go signal are two questions that have yet to be answered. There is no way that all of those key big Dem city, huge counting and “adjudicating” centers, all took the same unprecedented action in the middle of the night.

"The word is “charismatic”."

It isn't his charisma for me. In fact his personality rather turns me off. It is the fact that his enemies in both parties who have conspired to destroy us as a nation have gone to such lengths (legal and illegal) in their effort to block him, he's the one person they fear the most. They have convinced me, I'm voting for him in the primary and general election.
