Faux and the other networks are calling for Haley to be VP to unite the party. If Trump ever did that, he will lose his base, including me.
Trump resurrected and expanded a dying party. The GOP now belongs to MAGA.
Only way Nikki wins is if Trump is taken out.
How? 1. Supreme Court says its OK to pull Trump off the Ballot due to the 18th Amendment—Look what they did on the Texas wire issue. 2. Trump is convicted and sent to jail (or House arrest) while conviction is appealed for Two Years! 3. Trump gets mysteriously sick, or becomes confused. They have poisons that could do that. 4. Trump has an “accident”—plane crash, bird strike, freak lighting hit (drone). 5. Terrorists from Middle East (Iran?) attack Miralago kill lots of folks and are all taken out. That would be best—then we get war with Iran as well, Lots of fake tears a nice funeral and burial with a big monument. Any of these are possible with the Biden/Obama Crew in charge.
It’ll be interesting — as these moneyed interests keep watching her lose, and lose, and lose — to see how long they’re willing to try to prop her up financially in the face of a Reality that, at this point, seems manifestly inevitable.
Also, I wonder — if they’re willing to keep pouring in the capital — how long Haley will be willing to keep playing the game and keep taking the beatings.
They’re either going to cut her off, or she may get to the point of telling them, “It’s OVER; I’m DONE,” OR she could say, “I don’t care if I keep losing, as long as these people are gonna keep throwing the money at me, I’ll keep going, and when the rails finally run out, after the smoke from the wreckage clears, I’ll walk off into the sunset with my leftover campaign funds and call it a good run.”
I mean, Hell, if anybody wanted to give me a few million to run around smiling and glad-handing and losing to Trump, so long as I got to keep the residual funds when it was over, I don’t think that’s a deal I’d pass up.
