President Donald J. Trump scored a decisive victory on Tuesday night in New Hampshire, and also set a new record.
As renowned pollster Rich Baris points out, Trump demolished the record for most votes ever cast for a presidential candidate in an NH primary. The record was previously held by Bernie Sanders in 2016.
In 2016, Sanders received 152,193 votes, crushing Hillary Clinton.
At time of publication, 152,565 votes were cast for President Trump, with 13% of the votes still yet to be tallied.
Trump triumphed over his only remaining competitor, Nikki Haley. This win serves to further solidify Trump's position as the undisputed front-runner in the race for the GOP's 2024 presidential nomination.
As of late Tuesday night, the exact margin of Trump's victory awaited confirmation, but the outcome in the Granite State deals a setback to Haley's attempts to rally an anti-Trump coalition - made up of independents and Democrats - who aimed to impede his progress toward the nomination.
Following Trump's victory, Haley doubled down on staying in the race, assuring her supporters that "this race is far from over."
Trump criticized Haley, saying "somebody ran up to the state all dressed up nicely when it was at seven, but now I just walked up it’s at 14," he said, noting his lead over Haley in the election results. "She was up and I said wow, she’s doing like a speech like she won. She didn’t, she lost.
"We'll head out to South Carolina where I think we're going to win easily. I think we're 50 points up … on a person that was governor, that tells you something, but I felt I should do this because I find it a life you can't let people get away with bullsh*t, okay. And when I watched her, the fancy dress, it probably wasn't so fancy, come up I said what is she doing? We won. And she did the same thing last week."
An astounding 70% of Haley voters were not Republicans.
The thing about NH is that there are a lot of IINOs. Independents In Name Only. These are people that call themselves Independents because they want to virtue signal that they are not tied to EITHER party. However, when you ask them their views on key issues they really are more liberal than conservative.
It used to be that a lot of these people were actual libertarians. Fiscally conservative but socially liberal.
That is not the case anymore. Now, most of them are actually Liberals that say they are Independent.
This is how we ended up with candidates like John MCCain winning NH and GOP POUTS candidate
Exactly. and the real news is that out of a state of 1.3 million, Biden got only 54,942 votes, or 4% of NH supports him enough to vote.
She has to put on a big act in SC...... when her own state
rejects her for Trump. Probably rehearsing the act as we type.
Have you ever won anything? Say, an athletic tournament?
It doesn’t happen without confidence, optimism.. a positive attitude.
Winners need some luck, some good fortune, some hard work and discipline.
But you never win with a defeatist mindset.
Buck up, buckaroo.
update
Trump has now surpassed his own record for the most
votes received in the New Hampshire Republican Primary.
<><><><>In 2020 he won 120,734 votes.......Tuesday he won 164,094 votes.<><><><>
Nikki Haley got a measly 129,881 votes..... only 28% were Republicans.
And, Nikky Nooky received the most Democrat votes ever cast for a purported GOP candidate in NH.
So when has that ever stopped a rat voter from voting as many times they want. They don’t care what the voting laws are.
18th Amendment? Prohibition?
Yep Biden, Philips, and Williamson are the three candidates who qualified for the ballot.
The Dem Primary is Feb 3rd. The Repub primary is Feb 24th. You can only vote in one.
Heads exploding to the tune of Popcorn.
Sez who?.................😜
South Carolina...Look it up
“An astounding 70%” of Haley’s voters were not Republicans. So, delete her “Never Trump” crossover voters and she actually convinced 38,894 Republicans to vote for her.
IOW, Trump mopped the floor with her amongst GOP voters to the tune of 124,806 GOP votes.
This bodes well for the general election. Trump’s base is super motivated and the “Never Trump” coalition - not so much. I guess the last 3 years of Bidenomics has taken some of thw ind out of their sails.
a rea nasty woman
**********
Yep a real nasty but each have only one vote.
Just like the goodies.
Democrats don’t obey no laws..................
6 of the 7 voters in Dixville Notch voted for Biden in 2020. They get what they deserve.
Great news!
