Did Clinton wait in '92? Obama in '08? JFK in '60?
“Did Clinton wait in ‘92? Obama in ‘08? JFK in ‘60?”
None of them had to deal with a guy at 60% in their own party. Trying to take him head on was simply IDIOCY.
He could read the political tea leaves like the rest of us. He had no chance against Trump.
DeSantis is no Clinton, Obama, or JFK.
They were political stars.
DeSantis is a total dud, as he demonstrated all by himself.
Well Clinton had GHW Bush, Obama had McCain, JFK had Nixon, given that Nixon's election was stolen by the graveyard districts in Daley's Chicago.
DeSantis should have waited till 28.
“Did Clinton wait in ‘92? Obama in ‘08? JFK in ‘60?”
DeSantis whole play had to be he thought Trump would be in jail. He had zero chance otherwise, and here we are.
“Did Clinton wait in ‘92? Obama in ‘08? JFK in ‘60? “
Trump waited until 2016, when Republican Consultant politics would have said he was too old.
Clinton had been Arkansas governor for 12 years by the time he ran, JFK in elective office for 13 years. Obama was pushed on us by Soros.
Nobody gives a crap what RATS do. And none of them had an election stolen from them. DeSantis chose to run against a popular Republican President who had been continually attacked before he was elected, ruthlessly attacked while in office, removed illegally from office, and illegally attacked by criminals in order to keep him from running again, and the attacks haven't ceased yet, and likely never will.
DeSantis is an arrogant, self-serving prig.
They won he has become a laughingstock
>>He should have waited till 28, but his ego got to him.
>Did Clinton wait in ‘92? Obama in ‘08? JFK in ‘60?
He wasn’t ready for a larger audience. He was stiff, defensive, couldn’t handle the press (something Trump EXCELS at). And the people running his campaign were awful. They gave bad advice and squandered 130 million bucks.
Maybe DeSantis can learn from this experience, but this may have doomed his 2028 chances. No one’s going to want to waste money on another national campaign given how much he blew this time.
Those were all years when a Republican was President and the Dem field was wide open.
