Typical obtuse MAGA. Clearly “we” referred to the tendency of your little cult to call anyone a leftist who questions Trump or felt there were better candidates.
So cute that you think Biden is a sure bet and that they’re not swapping in Newsom or Big Mike.
VP Youngkin? I don’t think so. MAGA voters just put an end to one Establishment pretender. Why would they support another?
“this isn’t like ‘16. Biden, the Democrats and the Deep State are prepared.”
That is what terrifies me all the time!
Donald Trump vs Joe Biden, the election gets close enough so they can use fraud to get them over the finish line.
Joe Biden vs anyone else, it's more likely it will be a landslide victory for the GOP candidate unless it's a pathetic candidate (Vivek, DeSantis, Youngkin, etc should all beat Biden easily).
The campaign begins for VP...Since he endorsed Trump then game on...
Oh well. That's why I will anticipate Biden/Harris' reelection on Election Day.
Agreed.
The last two years of his first term as governor were a presidential campaign. As soon as Trump was out of the White House, he and his army of consultants pivoted into campaign mode. DeSantis had the weight of the RINO establishment behind him and the astro-turf campaign was off and running.
The Democrats never seriously tried to oppose him in Florida. I wonder why /s. The Florida Republicans got solidly behind him and gave him everything he asked for. He was seen as a rising star and they wanted to be part of his ascent. It could mean appointments and all sorts of opportunities for them if he made it to the White House. So the myth making began.
So cute that you’re certain he’ll be swapped out. And so cute that you think whoever would take his place if that were to happen wouldn’t have the chains of Biden’s legacy hanging on them and dragging them down.
>>He should have waited till 28, but his ego got to him.
>Did Clinton wait in ‘92? Obama in ‘08? JFK in ‘60?
He wasn’t ready for a larger audience. He was stiff, defensive, couldn’t handle the press (something Trump EXCELS at). And the people running his campaign were awful. They gave bad advice and squandered 130 million bucks.
Maybe DeSantis can learn from this experience, but this may have doomed his 2028 chances. No one’s going to want to waste money on another national campaign given how much he blew this time.
“ He sounds and looks better than he has recently”
I agree completely.
If DeSantis had just supported Trump from the beginning while standing back ready to take over if something does happen to Trump, he would have probably been the nominee. I hope he will govern Florida extremely well and be able to come back in ‘28… Unless Trump has a fantastic vice president who can take over.
Accept that Trump won the nomination? Sure. Only an idiot or a crazy person denies objective reality.
Does that mean we are all going to obediently march to the polls in November to vote for Trump? No, especially after being told explicitly that our votes are not needed nor even wanted. Some will vote for Trump, some may vote 3rd party, and some will just not vote at all, or at least will not vote in the presidential race. Many Trump supporters seem to think that supporters of other candidates are obligated to vote for Trump when he wins the nomination. They don’t seem to realize you have to earn their support, you can’t browbeat or insult your way to getting their votes.
Perhaps you are right that you don’t need the votes of Desantis and Haley supporters - but if in November Trump finds himself just short of the finish line again, take a good look within your own camp for the culprits…
How long do you think you will run from thread to thread stamping your left foot and pointing your bony finger at US MAGA idiots? Keep in mind lefty, jimrob is MAGA. That's twice I have attempted to warn you off. You're on your own. Remember, "It's better to flame out than to fade away."
Biden’s terrible legacy wasn’t enough to bring us a red wave in 2022 because of how unpopular Trump remains, right or wrong, with a huge section of the voting public. But, sure, let’s run him again. This time it will be different.
Running to teacher now, huh?
You may be right. By '28, the donors may want to go with a new horse. Youngkin. Abbott. I wouldn't count DeSantis out though.
Same with Vivek. I like that kid now.
“couldn’t handle the press (something Trump EXCELS at).
Same with Vivek. I like that kid now.”
Couldn’t agree with you more. BTTT
