The basement strategy would have worked better for DeSantis.

Every time he campaigned he lost support.

His best polling was the day before he announced.

Of the major Sunday talk shows, only place to go for non RINO GOP is Maria B’s show on Fox Business

That clip is brutal.

DeSantis is making the classic bureaucratic mistake you see so often in both business and government...

His comments were like evaluating corporate results by number of meetings held instead of profits.

Remember that scene in Wall Street where Gordon Gekko points at all the VPs in the front of the shareholder’s meeting:

“Now, I have spent the last two months analyzing what all these guys do, and I still can’t figure it out. One thing I do know is that our paper company lost 110 million dollars last year, and I’ll bet that half of that was spent in all the paperwork going back and forth between all these vice presidents.”

It sounds like the DeSantis campaign.

Lol.

That is like week one of an MBA course—do not confuse lots of activity/process with results.

// Anybody can read a teleprompter at a rally, or take softballs from Fox News in a quasi town hall.

I’m asking when’s the last time Trump went into the belly of the beast, and took questions from NBC or CNN?

DeSantis has been doing it regularly for months, so this should be no big deal he decided to take one weekend off. //

Seriously? That’s what you think Trump has to do to prove himself to voters? Trump lives in the belly of the beast in a way we’ll never understand.

Desantis will be dropping out
A good governor has become a national laughingstock
The anti Trumpers need to move on

He tried that approach in Iowa.
He campaigned in ALL of Iowa’s Counties.
He still got crushed.
Plus Trump won a majority of Evangelical Votes.

It is an embarrassing clip. I was embarrassed for him because he sounded delusional. He didn’t win a damn thing after all the effort. So no, he didn’t do everything right.

To be honest? The problem is him. He is just unable to make a connection with people. You can have ideas but if you can’t make a sale to anyone your ideas are a fail. People don’t sit around at these things listening to someone ramble about how the sausage is made. They are there to hear a candidate with passion and fire extolling what their vision is to fix the mess we are in. Someone who wants for them what they want.

Ron should have understood that he could not defeat Trump, but he let his hopes and ego influence him to enter the race that he should have avoided.

This clip is astounding.

DeSantis had no rebuttal.

Donald Trump will be the nominee.

I just think the problem is he doesn’t have one “big idea” to run on . He’s not a visionary he’s a reactionary. That’s worked in Florida as fends off Disney and the Covid Gestapo, but it doesn’t translate to a bigger picture vision for the country that gets people excited. Reagan Obama and Trump all understood how to push that “one big idea” on the way to the presidency.

Sentenced 11/17 to 41 months in prison followed by 36 months supervised release, must pay $2,000 restitution.

41 months in prison.

And the guy was released within 24 hours of Tucker Carlson's one and only report (before he was fired) about the January 6th tapes ... where it was clearly shown that this Chansley guy was an affable, flaky clown who was escorted around the Capitol complex and into the Senate chambers by Capitol police officers.

The guy even led a prayer from the Senate President's pulpit, for heaven's sake ... and scolded his fellow protestors for trying to steal muffins from a table in a side room. LOL.

See Post #116. The guy was a clown who would have been thrown out of a Girl Scout troop for not being violent enough.

I find it interesting that many of the Trump supporters have convinced themselves that they will not need Desantis supporters or Haley supporters or Vivek supporters to win in the fall.

I don't know anyone who has ever said that.

I would point out, however, that many of these DeSantis and Haley supporters wouldn't vote for Trump under any circumstances. And a sizable number of them -- especially Haley's supporters -- have every intention of voting for Biden in November no matter who the Republican nominee is.

Have you ever watched a single Trump rally? He goes off prompter and speaks from his memory and heart multiple times.
