The sports journalism community is mourning the sudden passing of Mike Dickson, a prominent figure in tennis reporting. Dickson, who was set to celebrate his 60th birthday on January 27, died suddenly while in Melbourne for the Australian Open.
The news of his death was confirmed through a social media post by his wife and children. "We are devastated to announce that our wonderful husband and Dad, Mike, has collapsed and died while in Melbourne for the Aus Open," read the message shared via Dickson's X account. "For 38 years, he lived his dream covering sport all over the world. He was a truly great man, and we will miss him terribly," added the message from "Lucy, Sam, Ruby, and Joe."
While generally respected in the sports journalism space, Dickson was also the author of many stories shaming and trying to cancel tennis star Novak Djokovic.

Sorry to hear about your relative. I live in a senior complex. One person died from covid early in the game. My dear friend works as a caregiver and had to have every shot and booster. She then caught Covid twice, once very seriously. I had to buy groceries for her when she was too sick to leave the house.
Then a few days ago, she caught it again. I’m just glad she’s still alive.
My smart MD didn’t think I needed a vax because I’ve been taking everything for years that boosts the immune system. I did get one Vax when J&J was FDA approved. No side effects, not even a red spot on arm where shot went in.
Then I read that the FDA has several pharmaceutical company execs as members. FDA approval means NOTHING.
These people in the media were paid off. If not directly getting cash from various pharma companies for speaking or endorsement (or desiring such deals), NGOs and government agencies - then indirectly because they work for media companies that make oodles of cash from advertising by pharma companies and government “public service announcements”. And politicial campaigns. Their hands are rarely clean.
It didn’t used to be that way. Editorial board, news, and advertising used to have firewalls. Not anymore.
However if billions actually died, there'd be no end to the links and quotes you'd post.

At least he didn’t die of Covid. Sometimes the cure is worse than the disease. Everyday I feel better since not getting the shot though.

And please spare me the "they'll get theirs went it's their time" mantra while they continue to ruin the lives of millions or even billions on this planet. IMO, that's an unsatisfactory tradeoff.
