Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) got the better of CBS moderator Margaret Brennan — and perhaps CBS editorial “standards” — in an interview that aired Sunday.
“Back in 2021, you were the lawmaker who circulated the legal brief known as the Texas amicus brief, challenging the 2020 election outcome in a number of states, which by CBS editorial standards makes you an election denier,” Brennan said to Johnson on Face the Nation.
“That’s nonsense,” Johnson calmly replied.
Brennan persisted, “Can I get you on the record on that?”

Contrast her nagging of Mike Johnson to her coddling of Liz Cheney in her next interview. Not a single challenge to Cheney yet she was aggressively argumentative of Johnson. Kinds says tells all, the media are corrupt leftist activists, nothing more.
“Margaret Brennan is a stupid cow.”
Sums it up.
Let’s not insult cows by equating them to Margaret Brennan. And “stupidity” is “genius” relative to the combined intellect of Margaret Brennan and the rest of the CBS enemedia.
“..Margaret Brennan is a stupid cow...”
Insult to cows. At least cows are good for food: meat and milk.
This beotch is just...well....just like every other left winger: They think they’re so much smarter than anyone else, but in reality, they’re stupid as stupid can be.
Leftist-Anarchists call that journalism...

She is an old cow and a hen with an empty egg carton.

the proper response was to laugh at the famous CBS fake-but-accurate editorial standards....
was it unfair to her that Mike Johnson asked her if SHE read it? big assumption that she reads.
> which by CBS editorial standards makes you an election denier <
Interesting turn of the phrase there. No room for discussion.
I miss the days when differences of opinion were not only tolerated, but valued.
There is more smelly flatulence coming out of her mouth than from the typical cow.
By federal law there should be a chyron display that these programs and “news” casts are a DONATION IN KIND to the Democrat party.
Just another example of why it's impossible to watch any political shows on any TV channel {except maybe Newsmax}.
Gutfeld is a comic with a political bent.
I watch some RSBN, some Tucker web casts a little Joe Rogan, but my reading time is now old novels and very little politics.
I'm even less and less on FR and some of the other "conservative" internet products.
I'm voting Trump even if he's in the slammer and don't need to watch any "debates".
“I’ve always been consistent on the record,” Johnson said before asking Brennan, “Did you read the brief? Did you get a chance to read what we filed with the Supreme Court?”
“Well, I— I have read extensively some criticisms of that,” Brennan stammered through an awkward smile. “But…”
He owned her.
What a fool she looked like.
Oh, of course I cannot recall his name; but recently a Brit politico ran into the same sort of thing on the street when a BBC-like TWOT ambushed him. The politico was calmly snacking on something (e.g., like a biscuit — nonchalantly telling the TWOT that I do not respect you) and the “journalist” asked things like: “people have suggested....”
Politico’s responses included:
“which people?”, “specifically what suggestions?”, etc.
He pushed the TWOT back on every single deliberately-vague accusation disguised as a question. Gave no ground at all.
This is a model that needs to be used. Demand that the questioner define each term (’cause the commie trash re-define words to fit their narrative) and be specific. If they cannot or will not, then clearly state that you are not going to respond. Refuse to enter a trap.
Controlled opposition doesn’t destroy anything. Johnson is one of them.
That sounds like Pierre Poilievre, the leader of Canada’s Conservatives.
