Hakeem Jeffries Gets BURIED Under an Avalanche of Receipts for His 'Election Denial' Tweet
Twitchy ^ | Grateful Calvin

Posted on 01/07/2024 11:22:44 PM PST by Impala64ssa

Listening to leftist politicians repeatedly talk about 'election deniers' and 'protecting our democracy' has long grown tiresome. At this point, it is more hamfisted and comical than the newly anointed Emperor Palpatine in Star Wars ranting about how much he loves democracy after he manipulated the entire galaxy into making him an omnipotent tyrant.

This is kind of appropriate since the word hypocrisy comes from the Greek 'hypokrisis' (ὑπόκρισις) which, roughly translated means 'jealous and misleading play-acting.' Demosthenes was the first person to rail against letting 'hypokrites' become politicians. It's too bad we aren't heeding his words nearly 2,500 years later.

But the hypocritical Democrats don't seem to care too much about any of that, so they keep trotting out the same old, tired talking points, especially when the date Jan. 6 comes around on the calendar.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries was the latest to tweet his feigned outrage at 'election deniers' the morning after Jan. 6.

Oh, Lord. Here we go.

Before we get into all of X showing Jeffries what a hypocrite he is for saying this, let's make one thing clear: challenging the results of an election is not a 'threat to democracy.' It is every U.S. citizen's First Amendment right to do so. Yes, even if they hold public office. Anyone claiming otherwise is selling something and no one should be buying.

But if these are the rules that Democrats want to play by, then we are going to hold them to those same rules.

And whoa, nelly. X had mountains of receipts to show Jeffries how often he and other elected Democrats have been 'election deniers' in the past (the very recent past, as a matter of fact).

We're not certain about this, but calling for the ouster of a duly elected President (especially based on a lie like 'Russian collusion') sure sounds like election denial to us.

Wow. Pretty 'poisonous,' Hakeem.

And, as we all know, it's not just him. RNC Research has a great video showing TWENTY-FOUR STRAIGHT MINUTES of elected Democrats denying election results, which X was more than happy to share with Jeffries.

Whenever there is a leftist like Jeffries being a hypocrite, you can count on X users to have the receipts.

snip

All of these denials of the Trump presidency from Jeffries seem awfully insurrection-y, don't they?

Methinks Hakeem protests too much. Proving once again it's the guilty dogs who bark the loudest

Not everybody accepts losing elections with equanimity. And, would you actually want a candidate who did?

McCain or maybe his people tried to put the blame for his loss on Sarah Palin.

Romney was cowed.

Hillary Clinton fell apart.

I’ll not comment on the person who lost the 2020 election.

Having been involved in politics for several decades and in several states, I know many candidates that invested a lot into their campaign, of their ego and well as their money, who took their loss badly.

Nevertheless, we have a great tradition, in this country, of moving on. The next election is always already scheduled. Now we are fast approaching the next presidential election. Have some faith in the American people. As Lincoln said, “you can fool some of the people all the time (that’s the Democrats), and you can fool all of the people some of the time (that’s 2020), but you can’t fool all the people all the time.”

“Defending the Democracy” is the new “That’s Racist”.

Personally I believe that any public official that refers to our system of government as a democracy should immediately be removed from office and required to attend a basic Civics class.
Call it the “New DEI Training”…

He must be taking acting lessons. Either that or there's something else going on with him and his manner of speaking. Is he always "on" like that? Every time he gets up there it's like he's giving a performance. If he's having a dream where he's at work, does he talk like that in his sleep? It's like an app he has running in the background of the operating system of his so-called mind.

As well as, accusations of cheating within Democrat primaries. 🤣

Democrats are always doing what they accuse their opponents of doing.

You express a lot of faith in the “next election” righting the badly listing ship. You don’t acknowledge the extreme corruption of our voting processes by the communists.

Aside from what garbage is coming out of his mouth watching the hand thing is like watching a train wreck but thats my opinion.

Suppose some country claimed to be a "Democracy" while making it unlawful to challenge the legitimacy of an election process.

Suppose some country claimed to be a "Democracy" when its political leader abuse lawfare to try to jail their most popular rivals in order to secure re-election.

Suppose some country claimed to be a "Democracy" while its leaders lie about real violence their supporters do to innocent people and excuse them. And yet also entrap and frame innocent political opponents as violent and throw them in jail without trial.

We don't have to suppose anymore.

Getting comfortable with losing?

Let me quote Donald Trump on losing, I prefer a winner.

Andy, I see you already have explanations for losing the next election. Imagine that Dwight Eisenhower made a list of explanations for losing before D-Day, and you were George Marshall. Would you want that guy to remain in charge?

We don’t need a George McClellan. We need a U.S. Grant.

How can you rail when you mumble?

McCain had no intention of winning. Same with Romney.

neither McCain and Romney intended to win

Interesting. As you are a person who knows such things, did Trump intend to win in 2020?

I’ll be sure to include “common sense” in my next list of references when saying things like McCain and Romney didn’t intend to win.
