The self-described “Super Mayor” of a small Illinois town is making waves for her wild antics and alleged obscene spending of taxpayer dollars — with some insisting her escapades warrant a real-life “Parks and Recreation” TV show.
Tiffany Henyard, a Democrat who serves as mayor of the Chicago suburb of Dolton, has drawn massive heat for allegedly blowing taxpayer cash on everything from a first-class flight to Las Vegas to over-the-top security and personalized billboards.
Henyard, who is also the Thornton Township supervisor, has been blasted for bringing DJs to town meetings, filming music videos with cops and using a professional stylist to get glam for community events.
Meanwhile, the unfazed mayor’s Instagram and TikTok pages are filled with influencer-style videos of her outfits, as well as posts where she often boasts that “God chose me.”

According to copies of the township’s credit card statements obtained by WGN9, taxpayers forked over $3,741 for a round-trip flight to Vegas last May when she and other officials attended a shopping center conference.
Other charges from the trip included more than $8,400 on hotels, $587 at Ruth’s Chris Steak House and nearly $400 at Hot N’ Juicy Crawfish.
When she was asked about the trip by a local reporter in a now-viral video, Henyard blankly responded: “Any other questions?”

The unwashed will always look up to those people. They dream of having that life of glamour. Think of the handsome prince all the young girls want to marry. Think of the Kennedy’s/Obama. Why face the reality of one’s hum-drum life when there’s a messiah who makes one dream?

Members of the city council have tried to rein her in but she carries on like a dictator including at one point, locking the council members out of city hall.
There are numerous videos of her antics and it is amazing that she has not been arrested. She was actually recalled in Dalton but got the recall results overthrown on a technicality. She is now pushing legislation that would cut the mayors salary to $25,000 but only if a new mayor is elected (if she is re-elected she keeps the current salary). She is a classic double dipper with her two elected positions paying her nearly $300,000.00 per year.
I used to occasionally listen to Reverend Ike on the radio when I was a kid. His openness about making money made me laugh. Actually, it was somewhat refreshing.
Vegas has some of the best steak houses in the country. Cut, Oscars, Golden Steer, Hugos... many others. Why go to the same chain restaurant you can eat at in your home town? And Chicago has great steakhouses too!
