We need to start a poll/contest on spotting or predicting the most outlandish, projection-based, ridiculous nonsense ascribed to the potential of a term 2 for Trump.
I’m going with: ‘He’ll speed up climate change. It’ll be a planet-killing disaster worse than the dinosaur die off meteorite strike.
“He’ll bomb nursing homes and cut the paws off your dogs and cats!”
“The October 7 Hamas attack, which really wasn’t that bad, dontcha know, will look like a cakewalk compared to how Trump will kill millions by nuking every blue state.”

Obviously a president who does something wrong in office can be impeached and removed from office.
He’s giving this as a hypothetical example i’d have to read his entire brief but he’s arguing for president’s being prosecuted regarding things they did while president.
So unless he now means that he can arrest a sitting President and put them on trial, this horrible act during a state of the Union speech would have to wait at least 4 years to be prosecuted.
Of course the entire case is ridiculous because Trump never incited his followers to harm anyone and putting him on trial for it is in reality political persecution because he told people to peacefully protest and that was his and their constitutional right.
He should be hit with a contempt citation for this alone.

Jack Smith is engaging in criminal incitement from the bench.
A simpler example would be could a President directly murder somebody while in office and then avoid prosecution?
I believe it’s accepted that they cannot be prosecuted while in office. they would have to be removed from office through impeachman and then put on trial for the murder.
Then we have the current case where the president was exonerated during impeachment proceedings.
As much as we might like to think that a president could be prosecuted for committing a direct crime while in office, the Supreme Court is going to realize that this opens an incredible can of worms and the loud things just like what Jack Smith is trying to do-put a president on trial for crimes after office because you didn’t like him as president.
This is exactly the way they twist the laws in third world countries to prosecute the political opposition.
Remember when we had a country that believed that Justice was supposed to be blind? I used to like that country.
