Embattled Harvard University President Claudine Gay has resigned, she announced on Tuesday.
"It is with a heavy heart but a deep love for Harvard that I write to share that I will be stepping down as president," she said in a lengthy letter to the school community. "This is not a decision I came to easily. Indeed, it has been difficult beyond words because I have looked forward to working with so many of you to advance the commitment to academic excellence that has propelled this great university across centuries."
“But after consultation with members of the Corporation, it has become clear that it is in the best interests of Harvard for me to resign so that our community can navigate this moment of extraordinary challenge with a focus on the institution rather than any individual," the statement continued.
The resignation comes amid allegations of plagiarism over Gay's academic writings and following backlash over her response at a congressional hearing to questions about antisemitism on U.S. college campuses, which sparked calls for her to step down as president.

So what...next comes a long, paid vacation, then a book deal with a very large advance, the book will sell poorly but no one will care, and it will be on the NY Slimes best seller list for several weeks, then a tour giving speeches about how SHE WAS THE VICTIM, more money, then when Pedo Joe wins reelection, a cozy little staff office in DC...nice work if you can get it.
This sucks. She was the poster child of the woke movement. Xerox Biden must have told her it’s time to go.

Harvard’s been around for nearly 400 years.
gonna take about that long to recover from this self-inflicted disaster.
Methinks it’s already too late.
I have some good news.
There are thousands of Affirmative Action university administrators and faculty whose credentials are either fraudulent or gained by plagiarism which will now be easily discovered by AI or similar search tools.
Justice is coming.

She will give a farewell speech that starts with “I have a dream”.
She will write a book about her “Roots”.

This is Claudine Gay’s resignation letter. Rather than take responsibility for minimizing antisemitism, committing serial plagiarism, intimidating the free press, and damaging the institution, she calls her critics racist. This is the poison of DEI ideology. Glad she’s gone.

Remember. President Gay lost her job because of the mounting evidence of plagiarism, and not because she couldn’t answer a simple question in front of Congress about calls for Jewish genocide.
Antisemitism at Harvard is still less important than quotation marks and footnotes.
