Rob Smith, a Black and gay conservative influencer, was the target of vile homophobic and racist harassment at an event that took place alongside Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest in Phoenix, Arizona over the weekend.
The harassment was caught on tape and Smith joined CNN’s Abby Phillip on Tuesday night to discuss it and what it says about the larger Republican Party.
“Well, the first thing that I want to say is that anybody that thinks that this is somehow in some way fake or staged, I wanted to tell them that the hate crime that happened to Jussie Smollett was fake. This hate crime was very real,”

In Nazi Germany, Goebbels would send his goons to cause trouble and be smirch opponents. The opponents would defend themselves loudly and forcefully. The issue would quiet down.
Then Goebbels would send them again. Then again. Then again. Each time, the opponent would be less believed and more associated with the troublemaker. Eventually, the opponent would be wearing the accusation as a fact and there was nothing the opponent could do to shake the reputation that he developed, even he did nothing to get that reputatation.
This is what happened here. The American Nazi party sent somebody to do this to the gay Republican. It will happen again and again.
I mean, how many fake claims of white supremacists doing this or that have been pulled in the last few years since Trump arrived on the scene.

If you read the article, the guy actually stands up for Trump and the rank and file GOP voter and does not associate them with this.
I guess they “could have bashed his brains in” like the 6 black kids did to the white guy in Florida, but they called him some names, which, apparently, were just pejoratives for what he self-identifies as. Cool story, bro.
