Natalie has a number of fruit trees ordered for planting. She is turning half of her garden into orchard, seeing as she is no longer running her market stand. The garden used to be an entire half acre. Too much weeding, etc. So now it will be about half that with more fruit trees.
Blueberries are the one thing she doesn’t plant, as we have numerous blueberry patches in the area to pick your own. It’s also one of the fruits that is plentiful all winter in the freezer section, and not expensive. If all else fails, we’ll just live without them.
Sure I’ll join you in wine a bit later. Tentative plans to go store n I’ll be driving.
Made sloppy joes earlier. Think I’ll have an Asian noodle bowl later
It is strawberry season here in Central Florida right now. The strawberries are so delicious and delightfully fragrant.
If you see a greenish glow emanating from the far north, that is me, unable to contain my jealousy!
I figured if he did it again you might bury him there.

I have been watching videos on how to do water colors. There are so many different techniques, papers, brushes, etc. that I don’t know if I will get the hang of it or not but when my supplies get here I am going to give it a try.
I will be babysittiny my oldest daughter’s two dachshunds starting tomorrow until Thurs. evening. She and grand-daughter are going to Seattle for an appt. that she has on Thurs. which means going over the Cascade Mountain Pass. Yesterday for awhile it was closed because so many people were spinning out on the snow and ice. It shows open now but snowing today and tomorrow. Doesn’t show what Thur. will be. I have been trying to get her to reschedule but she is so stubborn that she won’t unless it is closed. I am such a worry wort.
NOW FOR SOMETHING ELSE THAT IS MADDENING. I think most of you know WA is ALL mail in ballots. I got mine today and it has ALL THE CANDIDATES except those who dropped out last year, still on the ballot. So that means that those who don’t keep up on things (which is most people) will be splitting the votes. ALSO we have to designate on the OUTSIDE of the mail in ballot which party we are voting for. So if it’s put in USPS mail a mail carrier could toss some depending on which party they want to get in. It is a Federal Crime, but some have still done it.
We do have Drop boxes which the woman assured me they always send two out to collect.
Now back to watching videos.

Glad to hear from you. I’ll bet you do splendidly with your watercolors. Good for you for giving something completely new a try....I think that’s great.
I know what you mean about the worrying. I hate it when the kids are travelling and the weather is bad. Every time there’s a big storm or ice setting in, I always text to make sure everyone is home. I just feel better knowing they’re all where they should be, safe and sound.
That mail-in situation is just asking for fraud....more than likely why it’s in place. That is maddening. I imagine having postal workers (union people) available to toss R ballots if they get the word is one of the reasons for mail-in ballots.
Good luck with the dogs - I hope they behave well for you. Keep us up to date!

Speaking of Mangos my sister raved about them, she was living in Tahiti then. So one day I saw them in the store and bought a couple. Of course never having had them before I had no idea what they were going to be like. When I bit into it it was hard and bitter. I thought how could anyone like these things. I didn’t know that they were not ripe.
So now I rarley buy fruit because of the fact they are never ripe in the store and when I try to give them time at home to rippen nine times out of ten I have let them go to long and then they are spoiled. :-(

Sometimes she had PLENTY of reason to worry!

So, Navalny was not killed by Putin. I didn’t think he was for a minute. Putin had just completed a fairly favorable interview with Tucker. The war mongers needed to make Putin look bad again, in order to advance their Ukraine money-laundering operation. Putin would not be so stupid as to have this guy done away with at that point in time. Also, the guy was in prison. No longer threatening with his part in the color revolution.
In any case, it’s been confirmed by Ukraine intelligence.

Our ballots still have all the dropouts on too. Have to het them printed up on schedule. Makes me wonder about Colorado. I don’t know when their primary is, or if they already printed without Trump name before going TO SCOTUS, that would be a dirty trick.
