US political scientist John Mearsheimer on Israel’s ‘punishment campaign’ against the civilian population in Palestine. Israel has gone far beyond “going after Hamas” in the first 10 weeks of its war on Gaza, according to one of the United States’ leading political scientists, John Mearsheimer.
He tells host Steve Clemons that murdering hundreds of civilians daily and starving the rest is a “punishment campaign” and “should be unacceptable to decent people all over the world”.
In this episode, Mearsheimer, who teaches international relations at the University of Chicago, looks into Israel’s long-term strategies and explains why the elites in the US, Europe and the Arab world are not taking concrete steps to stop Israel’s bombing campaign.

Hamas’ victims were paraded in the streets, civilians cheered and beat corpses.

Nothing new. Mearsheimer has always been anti-Israel. In previous conflicts between Israel and Hamas he has argued that Israel will never be able to end Hamas’s capability to fire rockets and missiles into Israel. Now when Israel is defeating Hamas that is also wrong.
He has also called Israel an apartheid state and supporters of Israel the “new Afrikaaners”. Strangely enough (/s) he has never commented on the fact that neither Christians nor Jews are allowed to live in freedom in the Arab-muslim countries.
Be was very anti-Israel at least 20-30 years ago. Co-wrote some MARXIST crap that became the propaganda publication for the Left. Don’t recall it’s name but it was “hot” stuff back then.

Why shouldn’t Israelis choose ethnic cleansing against Muslim Arabs? That’s exactly what Muslim Arabs do to Jews every chance they get, and it’s exactly what they mean when they say “From the river to the sea.” Tit for tat, Palis. And Palis got a lot of tit coming their way. I hope it rolls over them like a Woody Allen movie.
I did 4 years in Iraq and have traveled and worked in most middle eastern countries. IMO Al Jazeera is far more reputable than the West’s MSM. They are one news organization that yes, subtlely promotes their own viewpoint but, more importantly, it makes continuous attempts to gain credibility with the West.
A big plus, when dealing with Muslims is that you’re dealing with deists who are supposed to, and most often do, put their personal wants below a moral code. They value reason and integrity. Not so with Leftists who have no shame and whose moral compass always points toward themselves. Leftists hate anything that isn’t in their favor and hold nothing in higher esteem than their own wants.
