Let’s see if all the candidates who swear that they are going to defend the country will try and use this foe their campaigns or they defend the country. I knoe of only 1 may 2 people who will try and defend the Republic herem
Trump needs to 2win and take billions of dollars away from Colorado. Colorado takes in 1/3 of its revenue from defense and federal spending. It should lose all of it.
And her beliefs are relevant HOW?
DJT has about ten good arguments to overturn this, first and foremost that he has not “engaged in insurrection or rebellion”, he has not even been credibly accused of “insurrection or rebellion”. Four nitwit Democrats are acting as judge, jury and (ballot) executioner here, that’s not how it works in America.
If you want to find a major candidate who ACTUALLY engaged in insurrection and rebellion then look no further than Hanoi John Botox Kerry.
This “ruling” is ELECTION THEFT.
Democrats hate democracy.
They “convicted” Trump of insurrection without a trial.
Or even being charged with the crime of insurrection.
So much for due process.
If there is such conviction by trail, then the charges are moot. No court has convicted him thus it is a non-binding ruling.
When Ohio, Georgia, Florida or other red states ban DNC candidates for illegal immigration and BLM protest support it will get interesting.
The Supreme Court will say Trump has no standing since its up to each State to decide how electors are selected and not take up the case, citing Texas’ 2020 challenge against Pennsylvania as precedent.
I know, I'm dreaming.
This is awful. The sinking ship is sinking faster than ever.
Very misleading headline.
Third world corruption riddled country.
Compromised, paid off, or both, judges.
As a minimum, first step option, the RNC should remove Colorado as a convention delegate state.
The Colorado Supreme Court cites the part of Trump's speech where he says "fight, we fight like hell". See pages 10, 112, 126, 128, 132 of the opinion at https://www.courts.state.co.us/userfiles/file/Court_Probation/Supreme_Court/Opinions/2023/23SA300.pdf
The full context of that phrase is not quoted by the Colorado Supreme Court, which is:
"Our brightest days are before us. Our greatest achievements still wait. I think one of our great achievements will be election security because nobody until I came along had any idea how corrupt our elections were, and again most people would stand there at 9 o'clock in the evening and say I want to thank you very much, and they go off to some other life, but I said something is wrong here, something is really wrong, can't have happened and we fight, we fight like hell, and if you don't fight like hell you're not going to have a country anymore." See https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/trump-told-supporters-stormed-capitol-hill/story?id=75110558
This part of Trump's speech was at the end of the speech. The speech ended at about 1:12 p.m. (ET). Given that the barricades were first breached at about 1:00 p.m. (ET), Trump's phrase "fight, we fight like hell" could not have caused the breach of the barricades.
Except for one little problem....their "ruling" was just to GRAB A HEADLINE....nothing more! They STAYED their own ruling until January 4th, the day before the deadline, then INDEFINATELY thereafter. Trump will STILL BE ON THE BALLOT for the primary.
If this allowed to stand, what is keeping the supreme courts of Texas or Florida from ruling Biden ineligible to be on the ballot due to his dereliction of duty at the border by ignoring federal immigration law?
These radical leftists need to be careful what they wish for.
It’s a big club, and you ain’t in it. You and I are not in the big club! ~ George Carlin
(Warning! Typical George Carlin language!) May 4, 2014
“But there’s a reason. There’s a reason. There’s a reason for this, there’s a reason education sucks, and it’s the same reason that it will never, ever, ever be fixed. It’s never gonna get any better. Don’t look for it. Be happy with what you got.
Because the owners of this country don’t want that. I’m talking about the real owners now, the real owners, the big wealthy business interests that control things and make all the important decisions.
Forget the politicians. The politicians are put there to give you the idea that you have freedom of choice. You don’t.
You have no choice. You have owners. They own you. They own everything. They own all the important land. They own and control the corporations. They’ve long since bought and paid for the senate, the congress, the state houses, the city halls, they got the judges in their back pockets and they own all the big media companies so they control just about all of the news and information you get to hear. They got you by the balls.
They spend billions of dollars every year lobbying, lobbying, to get what they want. Well, we know what they want. They want more for themselves and less for everybody else, but I’ll tell you what they don’t want:
They don’t want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don’t want well informed, well educated people capable of critical thinking. They’re not interested in that. That doesn’t help them.
That’s against their interests. That’s right. They don’t want people who are smart enough to sit around a kitchen table to figure out how badly they’re getting ***ked by a system that threw them overboard 30 ***king years ago.
They don’t want that. You know what they want? They want obedient workers. Obedient workers. People who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork, and just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and the vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it, and now they’re coming for your Social Security money.
They want your retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street, and you know something? They’ll get it. They’ll get it all from you, sooner or later, ‘cause they own this ***king place.
David DePape might get deported back to Canada, and then, we will never see him nor hear from or about him again.
So can war evolve to a more humane form, where precision weapons are used to kill the political, military, business and technical elite of the adversary, instead of forming masses of conscripts using artillery and bombing to kill each other, civilians and destroy military and civilian infrastructure?
The killing of Zawahiri, Soleimani, grain tycoon Vadatursky, numerous Russian generals, Iranian nuclear scientists and missile engineers, and a variety of ISIS figures certainly points in that direction.
In a properly run war, Zelensky would be trying to kill Putin and his henchmen, and vice versa, without a lot of collateral killing and destruction.
Similarly, China and Taiwan would attempt to decapitate each other, rather than crudely mount invasions.
This would get us back to more honorable warfare, as practiced among nobles and their knights, prior to massed infantry tactics of the Thirty Years War and later. https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/4082697/posts?page=16#16 16 posted on 8/2/2022, 11:04:04 AM by FarCenter
Texas Lt. Gov @DanPatrick
flips script on Democrats after Trump gets barred from ballot in Colorado:
“Maybe we should take Joe Biden off the ballot in Texas for allowing 8 million people to cross the border since he’s been President.”
