It is part of the Hollywood propaganda machine to influence 2024 elections. It won’t work any more than Wag the Dog or any other garbage movies.
I think they deliberated choose for Texas and California to be on one side to avoid comparison’s to real life politics and so to avoid being called political.
Those thousands of military age males crossing the border every week will have no problem eliminating any opposition to the regime.

The only problem- it won’t be the purple-hair-wearing, weak-armed, mask-wearing limpwrists who’ll be fighting us. It’ll be the military-aged men who came from China, Central and South America, Africa, and the Middle East who flooded across our border and given arms and told to spread terror.
Hopefully it’ll be far better than “Leave the World Behind” by Obama et al on Netflix.

I’d agree if they were building a military to take on Russia or china. But they aren’t. The military is being repurposed to come after YOU.

At some point the Constitution is going to have to be enforced and THAT may look a lot like civil war…
I just don’t think we last much longer as a union of 50 states. I can’t say what will effect the change, but the First Republic of the United States will end and be replaced (I hope) by the Second Republic of the United States. And that will have fewer than 50 states.
Actually the left will win. They control the military, police, and all arms of gov’t. And they will do illegal things to win. The right will be stupid and try to fight with honor. The left will take away everyone’s retirement in a heartbeat. Lock up people they think are on the opposing side before they do anything illegal. The war would be over before it started. J6 proves that. We have people still in the gulag who did nothing but walk in the capitol after being invited in by the feds. And yet we do nothing about it.
The left on the other hand continue to shutdown congressional operations and get the charges dropped. They riot and burndown gov’t buildings and property. And no charges brought.
It sounds like there’s supposed to be a Christian theocracy installed, a POTUS run rogue into a 3rd term, so the “good guys” are fighting back - which are leftists of course.
A liberal wet dream. Of course it’s all projection. The complete opposite is true. They’d LOVE to install Mao’s communism. This all sounds very Mao’ism like. Publicly shame the “bad guys”.
It’s like “V for Vendetta”. A good movie - it’s just the liberals got it backwards there too. The “Christian Theocracy” persecutes gays and is responsible for a man-made virus (and miracle drug!) used to gain power. Sound familiar? The reverse is far more realistic - leftists hellbent on some form of communism/socialism, ascend to power and persecute Christian’s while celebrating LGBT.

The article doesn’t even mention the millions of defense contractors that do the maintenance for the military. Few military do maintenance anymore.

Here is the reality.
In a US civil war, the world will be on the Blue side.
So will most of the military, police, industry, and political leaders.
On the Red side will be the people in the hinterlands, without access to the coasts or major waterways.
Some Blue areas will fall at first, but there is no way for rural Texas (and yes, it will not be Austin, Dallas, or Houston) to project force very far.
In short the center will be hollowed out, and the coasts with ports and naval assets can be resupplied.
Money wins wars. Look where the money is.
But it will cost 10’s, if not 100’s, of millions of people.
Not seeing it. There’s a significant problem that the American left faces. They don’t have any guns. They’ve spent so long hating on the Americans who do that the Americans who do have tripled down. October 2023 was one of the top months ever in gun sales, which is a beacon of hope in this dark night of Democrat misery. But Dems aren’t the ones buying the guns. I’ve been to a gun store recently. I did not see a lot of hipsters, Palesimpians, wokeoids, or obnoxious Volvo-driving wine women. Instead, I saw a lot of guys who look like they can do a push-up. That’s not exactly the leftist demographic.

Left has plenty of guns. They have been the major purchasers of guns recently. They gather in Brown groups to train without government hassle.
They have police and military under their control.
