The US Army is facing a TikTok mutiny as Gen Z recruits are taking to social media to whine about low pay, 'sh***y' food and fitness tests.
The brazen posts - by uniformed troops on US bases - represent an audacious challenge to top brass amid a recruitment crisis. The Army fell short of its target by 25 percent last year.
One of the posts by military influencer Anthony Laster slams Army life for having 'No Privacy, The Pay Sucks, Sh***y Food, Disrespectful Leadership, NO SLEEP!' and has been viewed more than 600,000 times.
Laster, from Chicago, has more than a million followers on TikTok and made the public comments in uniform while on mission in the desert. In another post he claimed he spent his whole day watching TikToks while supposedly fighting the Taliban.
It gives a woeful impression of America's fighting forces to potential recruits, which is likely to cause further animosity toward TikTok from critics

I like TickTok. The screaming goats are the best. 🐐
But TikTok is not threat to the US. Not at all?
You’re bin Biden’s army, now!
Tic-Toc is a cancer spreading throughout.
Obviously, someone believed the recruiting videos...
I’m against sending US troops to fight Russia, but I’ll reconsider that for these snowflakes. Some Eastern Front action would serve them right.
Well WTF? Forbid them from mentioning the military on social media accounts and throw them in the brig.
That’s what they would have done not so long ago.
Hell, I bet they let them have cell phones in the field and in training these days.
Does this guy have a commanding officer? A company senior NCO?
They should confiscate his phone and educate his young ass. Unreal.
I know they’ve gone soft.
The videos are @ the link.
Bring back the 1940s-1960s Basic Training and culture. Right down to the amenities. NO SAIL PHONES. NO INTERNET. EVERY Drill Sergeant is, AT MINIMUM Sergeant Carter, and preferably Sgt. Hartman.
Get the emphasis off of the mutts and the POCs in rectuitment and culture. No piercings. EVERYONE, including the ones with three inputs have SHAVED heads. NO foreign flags or subcultures allowed.
If we have a revolution, then we move to the officers and CLEAN HOUSE.
“See, I did join the army, but I joined a different army. I joined the one with the condos and the private rooms.”
When they joined did they think they would get gourmet food, private rooms, high salaries and 11 hours of nap time?
Though I would say, the military could probably improve the quality of food and pay service members more. But then that would hurt Raytheon.

Watching videos with their earplugs in gives them something to do in the listening post while waiting for the Viet Cong.
Interesting how Tick Tok is now airing television ads promoting their platform......
A fish rots from the head down.
Just sayin’.

Like the Air Force?
This is what is supposed to protect our country: snotty kids who are addicted to a Chinese website. God help us.
Why is our military allowing this to continue?
A military influencer on Tik Tok is either a bot or a soldier who better learn how to peel potatoes very quickly.
