Help her! She’s been kidnapped by right-wing EV advocates and held for ransom!

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer proposed up to a new $2,500 state tax rebate for a new electric, hybrid, or traditional vehicle.

Witmer just doesn’t get it does she???? People DON’T WANT YOUR PIECE OF CRAP KNOWN AS THE EV’S. I still can’t figure out where on earth the people of Michigan dug her up from.

After EV owners realize they have to spend $20,000 to replace the batteries after a few years there won’t be any EVs in the area. Also dealers of used EVs have to replace the batteries before they can sell a used one.

Shouldn’t she ask the TAXPAYERS first before she STEALS their money ?
To: Red Badger
Our gummint picking winners and losers.
No matter how many tax breaks given to “the public”, there are thousand in Detroit, Lansing and Grand Rapids on welfare that can’t afford a \new\ EV.
Whitmer just chose them as “losers”.

$2500 should cover the homeowner’s deductible when their house burns down.

The auto workers continue to vote against their own interests. They received a huge wage and benefits package for auto workers but with plants not producing many EV’s there is no work. Can’t make money without a job.
I have no sympathy left. I felt the auto workers and every other manufacturing worker was screwed by the off shoring of jobs. The move to EV’s and destruction of fossil fuel jobs is a direct result of workers voting against their own interests.

Michigan must register 23,400 EVs every month for seven years.
If she just mandated that All Public Employee's in the State be PROHIBITED from Using or Owning an ICE powered vehicle of any kind, She would be on the way to meet this farcical goal.

EVs are such a failure that they want to force everyone to pay for them so a select few can own one.

MMM, 🧐 that fund would support 10,000 EV’s. Michigan sell about 40,000 new cars per month… so how long would the $25 million last and where does the “extra” $25 million come from?
