Florida’s Governor is again recalibrating his position on climate change, per a new interview in an Iowa newspaper.

The Des Moines Register reports that Ron DeSantis is admitting that human activity is one of a “variety of factors” driving the phenomenon — a fact reporter Katie Akin notes that he’s been reluctant to admit.

“DeSantis’ own stance has changed: During the first GOP presidential debate, he did not raise his hand when candidates were asked if human activities are warming the planet. But in the Dec. 9 interview with the Register, DeSantis said he does believe human activities are a factor in the changing climate,” Akin observed.

In 2009, Mr Trump actually signed a full-page advert in the New York Times, along with dozens of other business leaders, expressing support for legislation combating climate change.
“If we fail to act now, it is scientifically irrefutable that there will be catastrophic and irreversible consequences for humanity and our planet,” the statement said.

What was Trump’s position on climate change from 2017-2020?

Did he push legislation through Congress addressing this issue?

Human activity may be contributing but the amount is immeasurably small, lost in the random error of any actual measures of temperature. As usual the devil is in the details, but like the Trump grand juror might have said, “Details? Ain’t nobody got no time for that.”

I don’t think anybody who’s serious about topic can say they know that human activity is non-factor.

The truth is that most of us “deniers” are saying is that it’s probably a very small factor, and that there is no evidence that it is one of the main factors, or as the climate alarmist are claiming, it is “the primary cause”.

The key to dealing with interviews like this is actually not to answer it, and question the questioners’ assumption instead. Because whatever answer you give, is wrong.

"DeSantis’ own stance has changed:"

Surprise! How does anyone know for sure what this guy is for or against?

He's already proven he will turn on anyone.

And he has no regard for election integrity.

He's willing to gaslight the people that 2020 election was legitimate, and Biden won in a landslide, that made him, (Biden), the most popular president in American history? 🙄

They can’t do anything about geologic activities on Earth, for the most part. Methane release from melting permafrost cannot be reasonably stopped, and neither can methane release from billions of animals inhabiting the planet.

Now, the Sun. That’s a bit different as there are some idiotic proposals out there that have been postulated, or in the case of the retards in Mexico, actually acted upon unilaterally. See “Make Sunsets”.

NONSENSE!

COMMON sense tells anyone who has it, that puny hu-mans can NOT affect global climate. They can only barely affect “local” climate.

The world is YUGE! Most of it is oceans and the land is sparsely populated.

Most of the earth is void of hu-mans.

Colossal systems on earth dwarf any minuscule effects puny hu-mans could create.

Man made global climate change is a ridiculous HOAX!

Anyone with a brain can see this.

We are a factor...because we inhale, exhale and fart. So what...we're part of the "System of the Universe".

No matter what we do to erase climate change...we will never succeed because we are part of the system just like the farting cows.

It's not about climate...it's about "control" and "money"....the usual.
