Another filing by Jack Smith.
He collected data off Trump's cell phones including "images and websites visited" and when Trump left his Twitter app open on January 6.
Smith is a sick individual who should immediately be defunded and investigated--"deranged" is too kind.

Trump does not text, has always cautioned his people to cautious of electronic snooping, his twitter account is automatically public by definition and this is a total nothingburger, unless the intelligence people planted stuff on his phone.
I think the House failed to fix rubber stamp warrant mechanism in section 702 of the NDAA again this year. Maybe those agencies feel emboldened.
“NOTE: This is not unlike the level of surveillance
conducted in the Soviet Union and E. Germany in years past.”
You’ve got to be kidding. The East Germans, Beria, and Stalin couldn’t even imagine a surveillance paradise like this.
The equipment was expensive back then - and even worse, it was very risky to plant it. Then, there were the issues of maintaining it, also risky and expensive. We buy, install, maintain, and even pay for the bandwidth of our surveillance equipment ourselves!! HOW could it get any “better”?
I posted: This is not unlike the level of surveillance
conducted in the Soviet Union and E. Germany in years past.
AND ADDED: The Obama/Biden construct, however, is lightyears more invasive and broad based.
It was a government phone. And going through a suspect’s phone is pretty standard when someone is arrested. It was likely on one of the search warrants.
bkmk
No prosecutor is obligated to release any of his evidence to anyone other than the defendant.
Trump knew they had his government phone. He said nothing.
It’s government property. It’s not Trump’s. He doesnt need a warrant.
Unless Trump is really lucky in the jury selection from the DC pool, most of the jurors will be dumb enough to believe Smith’s nonsense. Trump needs to delay the verdict until after election day. The immunity motion might not get a ruling in SCOTUS until after that. In that case the verdict would have to wait. The phone evidence might have to wait too, in which case Smith might decide not to use it. Deep will probably leak it to the jury anyway.
It's GOTT'A be Billions !
Second, is that even admissible without a warrant?
Given the way the expert witness is described, and the likely course of events that day, I don't think they'll argue that the cell-phone evidence was proof of some sort of insurrection as much as they want to show Trump as an aloof social-media addict who was looking up memes and tweeting while congress burned (to paraphrase Tacitus).
They wouldn't have entered this into evidence if they didn't have that warrant, and considering how the DoJ has pursued and persecuted nonviolent protestors for years after the fact, and how DC judges and juries have been convicting them to the hilt, it's pretty easy to believe they found a lawyer in the DoJ to go before a DC judge to approve whatever warrant they needed.

Special counsel reveals plans to use Trump’s phone data at trial
Jack Smith indicated that he plans to call an expert witness who extracted and reviewed data copied from Trump’s phone.
Special counsel Jack Smith has extracted data from the cell phone Donald Trump used while in the White House and plans to present evidence of his findings to a Washington, D.C. jury to demonstrate how Trump used the phone in the weeks during which he attempted to subvert the 2020 election.
In a court filing Monday, Smith indicated that he plans to call an expert witness who extracted and reviewed data copied from Trump’s phone, as well as a phone used by another unidentified individual in Trump’s orbit.
It doesn’t say when it was done.
Doesn’t matter as Trump was still a sitting President on Jan 6th with protected communications. If he did this he is in big trouble.
don’t get me started.
As a recovering Catholic /s, I can think of one more thing (i.e., 'extreme').
Which also means Agent Smith also collected the same with every single Twitter user that had any interaction with Trump with his blanket subpoenas.
“They’ll find Trump visited freerepublic.com”
+1 Hahahaha
