A Hamas spokesman suggested Sunday that the terror organization could kill all of the presumed 137 hostages in its custody if Israel does not accede to its demands.
Abu Obeida, a familiar spokesman for Hamas who had not been seen for several weeks, released a video in which he made the threat clear.
“Neither the fascist enemy and its arrogant leadership… nor its supporters… can take their prisoners alive without an exchange and negotiation and meeting the demands of the resistance,” he said, according to the Times of Israel.
It is not clear if Hamas would deliver on that threat. The hostages are the only leverage that Hamas has over Israel, and it uses them as human shields. The Hamas leaders in exile — in luxurious accommodation in Doha, Qatar — would also likely to preserve the hostages alive to ensure that Israel negotiates with them, rather than killing them (as it has promised to do, eventually).

But Fetterman has been a pleasant surprise on this issue. He appears to be backing Israel all the way. In a CNN interview, Fetterman said Israel has not committed any war crimes in Gaza. And from that interview:
“But, I do fundamentally believe that Israel must destroy Hamas to achieve conditions that allow for peace to prosper.”
Fetterman talks so forcefully about this that I do not believe it’s some kind of trick or gimmick.
Right.
All the news shows will have someone say “to be balanced about this we have to blame the Israelis for their genocide of Arabs under apartheid which caused the rage of Hamas.”— University presidents and professors, Squad types and young Americans who vote Dem.

Ones that won’t jump out, you push out.

If Hamas sent out tapes of hostage executions, I predict:
Muslims everywhere would celebrate. Some openly, some behind closed doors.
Some pro-Palestinian folks would be horrified, and would drift away from the cause. Others would claim the tapes are faked. And others would say that the Israeli attacks justified the executions.
Bottom line: The tapes wouldn’t change things a whole lot. After all, the horrific pictures of dead Israeli citizens after the original Hamas attack didn’t change things a whole lot.

So, perform all their demands and they will just make more demands. Why not?
