United Auto Workers president Shawn Fain compared Israel to the fascist nations of World War II in a tweet Friday celebrating the union’s call for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, after the Palestinian Hamas terror organization violated a seven-day truce.

I would never buy an American made car, I make damn sure the car I buy comes in off the dock from Japan. The UAW is the next thing to SEIU and the NEA. Their world-view and mine never cross paths.
I stand by what I said. “Solidarity is a communist word.” Ask any union thug.
I can see where the Oakland city council might want to suck up to their constituents who hate anything that might be considered ‘Western’ even though it does nothing to make the city better.
But is there an outcry from union members regarding what’s going on in Gaza. I realize there are lots of muslims living in the Detroit area, but are they working in the auto plants?

The EASY SOLUTION is to simply OUTLAW labor unions. They’ve more than served their purpose and at this point, they’re simply FUNDRAISING ARMS for the DNC. There is literally NO CREDIBLE DEFENSE of them anymore.
If you don’t like ‘the man’, do what 90% plus of the country needs to do - find another ‘man’.
A good reason to boycott the cars they make.

That's nitpicking. Unions will force members to pay dues for things the members do not support. Unions will force members to do picketing for other non-related unions. Unions will also force members into silence and not allow them to speak out about policies having nothing to do with the worker's rights. Unions are bad!
How do I know? In the past, I was not only a union member, but also a union officer and shop steward. I had a lot of disagreements with union leadership, many that simply wanted to line their own pockets and not work on actual worker grievances. They are bad, bad, bad.

23. Not many Jews are members of the UAW. Don’t recall many being members in the past. It was largely other ethnic groups who dominated it.
However, in the past, the UAW was divided by two factions, the Communist Party and the Socialists under Walter Reuther. Further eventually won and all this was in a book by a CP sympathizer entitled “The Communist Party and the UAW” by Roger Keeran, International Publishers, 1980, 1986.
Over the decades, the UAW became less MARXIST but from the sound of Fain and Mancilla, the reds are back in town like dangerous, braying traitors.
The UAW is now run by communist/Marxist anti-Semites, Islamic Fascist supporters.

Israel didn’t start this war, Hamas did by murdering 1400 Israelis (many in savage, medieval ways), injuring over 5,000 and kidnapping about 245 people ranging in age from 9 months to 85. If anyone is acting like a bunch of Nazis, it is Hamas.
Israel doesn’t put its military installations among civilians, but Hamas does, on purpose. Hamas WANTS its people to be casualties, just for the propaganda points. Israel calls, emails, and drops millions of leaflets, warning the Arabs in Gaza of an impending attack so that they can move away. Hamas targets Israeli civilians, including over 9000 rockets shot off without any guidance system, so that they will just randomly fall and injure anyone who happens to be in the way. Israel uses high technology to precision target military installations and headquarters facilities of Hamas.
This asswipe at the UAW couldn’t find his ass with both hands when it comes to the facts of what is going on in the Middle East, nor in the moral differences between the two sides. Israel is certainly not perfect, but it is the most moral military on the face of the planet. They oftentimes put their own soldiers at risk in order to avoid civilian casualties on the other side. Who else does that as much as Israel does?
Labor history was never a topic I spent much time on. I guess I'm more into military history, which is constantly rewritten IMO.
"Dachau" is meaningless to anyone under 40. During my tour in Germany (77-81), I visited it twice, the evil there is haunting.
We had the choice of the Communists running the Unions, or the Mob, the US Government decided that the Mob was the lesser of two evils. And I’m inclined to agree.
Then, I was so sick of the alliance between labor unions and the Dem party, I bought a Japanese vehicle, a Honda which was assembled in the USA by non-union hands. The finest car I've ever owned. I eventually replaced that car with another Honda, the most recent finest car I've ever owned.
