(The Center Square) – Inflation and price increases are by far the most important issue facing the country.
That's according to The Center Square Voters' Voice Poll conducted from Oct. 20-26, 2023, in conjunction with Noble Predictive Insights.
The poll data showed that 48% of registered voters said inflation was the most important issue in the U.S. Illegal immigration had the second most support among registered voters at 35%. Crime and violence was the third most popular pick at 27%.
The poll reported that 95% of registered voters said they have seen prices increase over the last few years with 5% saying they have seen no change.
Among those who reported seeing price increases, 96% said the cost of groceries had increased and 82% said the cost of gasoline had increased.

Everyone in the poor and middle classes feels the impact of those. And it hurts.
Yes the media mouthpieces don’t like to let people know inflation is before a recession the way banks are folding and the stock market has been yoyoing for the last two years.
Biden and party has made every wrong move possible chimps pulling a string for a banana could do a better job.
What is the definition of ‘transitory’, in months? Asking for a friend...
That’s great, but only the baby killers will show up on and prior to Election Day.
Inflation erodes and diminishes the value of units of currency, and DOES NOT reverse. The only time in the past hundred years in which there was genuine DEFLATION was during the Great Depression, when the price of practically everything was falling, not because of any increase in productivity on the part of the economy as a whole, but because the velocity of money moving through the economy was almost completely stalled out. There was a time when gasoline, for example, was eight gallons for a dollar, but there were few takers even at that level, and gasoline was actually scarce in terms of past levels of consumption.
Fifty cents bought groceries for two for several days. And yet there were plenty of hungry people. If you could not barter away something you had of value to someone else, or if you could not grow your own food, there were lean times indeed. Eating grass is not very filling.
Inflation is the ONE issue that really hits home with the voters. Far away wars, the legality of abortion. Even crime and border security...these are really abstract issues for most people. But everyone goes to the grocery store or buys gas. You can’t snow people on inflation for very long.
Abortion and “health care access” are tied for 7th in this survey. So let’s see how that plays out.
According to the Demon Rats, killing babies in the womb is something that MUST BE DONE IMMEDIATELY.
Sigh.
“What is the definition of ‘transitory’, in months? Asking for a friend...”
The “Transitory” narrative never happened. No one said that inflation would be transitory. That is all in your imagination and part of the right-wing extremist rhetoric. Besides, both Cramer and Krugman (world-renowned economists) say the economy is doing great and we have a “soft-landing” in our future. Ignore your own experience! Trust the experts!
Do you have the contact information of these chimps??

I see comments on so many sites celebrating the “fact” that abortion is the number one issue that will make sure that the Dems win next November. So many of them are men. I always respond with a comment of their willingness to kill their children and use women for their own pleasure while using abortion as an “out”. I very seldom get any replies other than women should have control of their own bodies. I then respond that it sounds more like he supports men being in control of women’s bodies. After that, I get no more responses.

Biden’s 04% of a century........ sounds lesser.
Crowing about a 3.9% unemployment rate is not impressing people who have to work two jobs to pay their own bills, or come out of retirement to pay increased rent. Wealthy liberal scions don’t think that way, they see an abstract statistic and say oh gee that’s great. Why aren’t people happy about it?
And yet abortion will be the primary mover with these pukes

Bonus Round: The last three years where have you been?.
Yeah sure but what about the dead voters, huh?
Apparently not, well anyway the ones who report 15% inflation certainly don't shop in the grocery store.
