NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (AP) — A vehicle speeding toward a U.S.-Canada bridge from the American side crashed and exploded at a checkpoint in Niagara Falls on Wednesday, killing two people and prompting the closing of border crossings in the area, authorities said. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul said there was “no indication of a terrorist attack.”
Much remained unclear about the crash, which investigators were working to understand. Hochul said it wasn’t clear whether the driver was intentionally heading for the Rainbow Bridge across the Niagara River when the vehicle hit a median and flew into the air.
“ Based on what we know at this moment,” she said, “there is no sign of terrorist activity in this crash.”
It prompted the closing of four border crossings and raised concerns on both sides of the border. The White House said President Joe Biden was “closely following developments,” and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said officials were “taking this extraordinarily seriously.”
seriously.”
“This is obviously a very serious situation in Niagara Falls,” Trudeau said in Parliament before excusing himself from Question Period in the House of Commons to be briefed further.
The two deceased people were in the vehicle, a law enforcement official told The Associated Press. The official was not authorized to discuss details of the investigation publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity.
Aaron Ferguson, a spokesperson for the city of Niagara Falls, New York, said the vehicle was traveling at high speed from that city and crashed into the border station.

A bit more information from a story at 9:01 p.m.:
FTA -
“The incident occurred shortly before 12pm. Authorities say that the vehicle had attempted to cross the US border into Canada using Rainbow Bridge. When a border patrol officer directed the car into a secondary lane for searching, it sped up, went airborne over an 8-foot fence, crashed, caught on fire and then exploded.”
The procedure at the land crossings at the US/Canadian border is that your license plate number gets entered into the CBP computer as the travellers are driving towards the booth. The officer takes your paperwork/passport/Nexus card immediately upon getting to their booth, so the CBP officer had the passports of the travellers in his hand. They don’t return them until they release you into the country. If you’re pulled over for a secondary inspection, they keep your paperwork and a runner takes it into the next inspection area. Once you’re cleared from either the primary or secondary inspection areas, they return your papers to you.
When the officer entered the individual ID’s into his computer, either their behaviour or something on his screen prompted him to send them to secondary, according to the article above. It was at this direction that the travellers decided to make a run for I-don’t-know-where. It’s a very confined area where this happened and there really isn’t anywhere to go.
The CPB computers have the vehicle and travellers’ information and absolutely know who they are. If the explosion was close enough to the primary inspection booth, the blast energy could have dislodged the paperwork from the CBP officer’s hands and fallen to the ground, where they were reported to have been found. That the travellers decided to try to get away leads to its own conclusion. Still digging, but the official narrative isn’t holding up.

As usual its all about control my guess is the mockingbird press is taking orders from CIA as usual.
Ha.
That would have been controversial. But they’d make up an excuse somehow.
Had no idea they existed ——

You’re right. That would have been a good excuse for the Muslim apologists. Until the full 2nd plane story emerged.
Even Osama, smiling, reported the event later in a propaganda video in which he recalled that he said to his supporters just wait, wait a little and the 2nd plane hit the other tower. More smiling by Osama.
At first the media repeated the story of that 1945 accidental hit on the Empire State Building by a B-25 propeller plane. I happened to have read a magazine story about it a while earlier so thought of that during the first reports.
