To a certain degree, very true. But it’s become common knowledge that California is now a hellscape. There was a poll out the other day that Newsom did worse than Biden against Trump (which actually was a surprise to me). People may not know who Newsom is, but coming from California makes him toxic.
Newsom's wife divorced him in 2006. His wife was Kimberyly Guilfoyle, who is now engaged to Donald Trump, Jr.
Newsom had a second affair in 2007, this time with his appointments secretary, who was also married to his 2007 campaign manager. Newsom later married his current wife in 2008.
I don't know how much of Newsom's cheating past will be used against him in a campaign against him by Trump, especially since Newsom cheated on Trump's future daughter-in-law.

Such a strange comment! Jao Beidan IS the real candidate! And Jill and he are not about to let go the nomination without a fight. The real president — Hussein Obama — likes Jao just fine in the role because Beidan is, quite literally, malleable putty. Newsome will put an end to that, and Obama & his cabal can’t let that happen.

I sort of think the logical thing for the Uni Party is to allow Trump to throttle Biden and go underground for the next 4 years to rebuild. Lawfare isn’t working; polls aren’t working; vote cheating isn’t going to do much; the Dem bench is empty........ And one by one RINOS are being exposed and in many cases shunned and removed from positions.
Lots still to do cause that swamp isdeep and filled with snakes.

The country(as it stands now)doesn't deserve, nor would it ever appreciate, his efforts/sacrifice.

That is why they need to be vetted and re-vetted-rake them over hot coals with tough questions, go over their past political statements, votes, etc for consistency, all their online activities/posts on social media, etc, interview business associates-then lather, rinse and repeat-any RINO leanings/votes are a deal breaker... .
There aren’t that many true conservatives to choose from.
