House lawmakers on Tuesday attended a screening on Capitol Hill of the video assembled by the Israeli government which shows footage of Hamas’ brutal attack on Israel on October 7.
Some of the footage was taken from the terrorists’ body cameras.
The screening was attended by lawmakers from both parties, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) ...
According to Jewish Insider, lawmakers left the screening largely in grave silence, visibly shaken, several of them openly crying and comforting one another. One lawmaker, Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-WA), left in tears less than five minutes after entering.
“We had a large group of Republican and Democrat House members in the auditorium this morning, and you could have heard a pin drop — except for the sighs and the cries in the room because the video would make anyone with a soul cry,” Johnson said, according to The Hill.
Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) told Fox News Digital he felt sickened after viewing the footage.
"I've seen decapitation and I've seen just beating, and beating on both dead and alive bodies," Issa said. "And quite frankly, I'm just sick to my stomach."
"I mean, the details. And you can hear it, but when you see it, it's like visiting Auschwitz or Birkenau, except it's still going on visually," he added.
“Seeing the video footage of people celebrating the killing of Jews shows what we’re up against. And the fact that anybody would encourage or condone what Hamas did that day. It’s outrageous. It’s unbelievable seeing footage like that in the year 2023, in places we’ve all been,” she said.

You are onto something when you say these “atrocities have made people hate Israel”-— I have noticed this kind of thing for years now as a feature of what we should all recognize as Upside Down World-—unable to process the actual verifiable horrors of a thing for what they are, the victims become the actual perpetrators-—so what they are seeing and hearing about is the Hamas attack carried out against Israelis “as if” it were actually an attack on Palestinians or Hamas itself CARRIED OUT BY ISRAELIS!-—both the perceptions and the moral sense have undergone a complete short-circuiting.
But it’s “just Jews” so what’s the problem?, says every college, too many lawmakers, Islamic sympathizers, Islamic apologists, media talking heads, the Spew chicks and Joe potato. I would hope these aholes finally see what core islam is and make heart changes but I doubt it.
“Palestinians” are being oppressed by their own hamas “leaders”, but blame Israel and apparently they are A-ok with that. Eff them all. You might be right. But AOC’s weak Catholicism should be nurtured, not dismissed. If she (or Biden, or Pelosi) should see the light, it would be of value in the coming great struggle against Islam.
A big problem here is the pope. Instead of reinforcing the faith, he is diluting the faith.

No. I think the motivations are quite different. The Nashville manifesto concealers are protecting a self serving narrative. The doctors believe that people who are already grieving & traumatized would be further damaged by watching atrocities. Nothing is being hidden. Descriptions of the Hamas atrocities are readily available.
The descriptions are enough for me. Hamas must be eradicated root, branch & tree. There is no excuse, no justification. Any “innocents” in Gaza that are injured or killed suffer solely due to Hamas. Israel must eliminate Hamas or perish. They did not start the war but they must complete it.
