I feel very bad for those 48% who are against it on the side of right.

I live in the same kind of state where much of the time its a very close margin. Really p1sses you off. And we have IL libs that come here and help the native dems cheat.

Hell is celebrating extending its dominion over Ohio.

If anyone is ever hopeful that ANY good things are going to happen in America ever again, they are going to be disappointed.

America is going down hard…perhaps as hard as any empire/nation has ever gone down in human history. No one will escape it and it’s going to be unimaginably ugly.

What was voter turnout?

Because one thing that would explain the lopsided victory when a close vote was expected is if Christians sat on their fat asses and did not bother to get out and vote. And if pastors and priests failed to exort their congregants to vote for life.

I predict an exodus over time from this state. Their replacement population will grow from the homeless and illegals. Enjoy the suck. Judgment is coming.

Ohio is officially a blue state. No longer purple.

Maybe, just maybe, we can finally drop the oft-repeated drivel that this is "the greatest country in the world".

If we denied our debauchery because the 64 million murdered unborn took place through a Supreme Court decision, maybe the fact that Americans are voting for the murder of the unborn might be enough to face the unpleasant fact that we're a pagan country.

This is a winning issue for the gop but it would take them becoming pro choice and flipping the issue on democrats

Just like NJ voting twice to have a gas tax increase.

Sounds like one of those times when the votes were faked.

Can you post the exact ballot issue voted on?

Many times (in my local) ballot issues are worded such that a No vote is an Affirmative and a Yes is a negative.

*That is how it was today for Texas constitutional amendments. A wrong vote was a affirmative for a new taxing authority.

I was afraid that this was going to happen. :(

I was in the car today and a caller to ‘Clay & Buck’ (Rush’s ill-advised time-slot ‘replacements’) said the wording was so confusing that unless someone was educated on what the bill REALLY entailed, they were going to vote incorrectly.

Mission Accomplished. Satan Smiles. :(

Abortion is a losing issue. I voted No on Issue 1 as is my moral obligation. However, if we want to wrestle back control of this spiraling country this is a battle we’re going to have to lose. We are allowing the direction of the country to be decided by a single issue. It’s the sole reason the red wave never materialized last November.

Appalling. The Left is going to try this in every state now.

The Republican Party, by not prioritizing the defeat of Issue 1, failed the unborn babies of the Buckeye State.

If there is a hard lesson to be learned it is that the GOP must, in every election, in every state, focus on protecting life.

Every Republican candidate must make their Democrat opponents answer for their advocacy of abortion.

Even though I am opposed to abortion, I feel that misguided people of good faith can be of the opinion (wrongly) that an abortion in the first trimester is not infanticide

After the first trimester, it becomes increasingly harder and harder to hold that opinion

In the third trimester, abortion is simply murder

This law is state sanctioned murder which is evil , no two ways around it

What were they thinking
