Like the one at the mall in Texas a year ago. The shooter only had 8 seconds before he'd been plugged.
Here’s an idea. The first thing to do is Enforce existing laws. Maine has a Red Flag Law and now this tragedy exposes the weakness in more gun control laws
If some of those people had been packing, that bass turd Card might be room temp instead of running.
And blame people who had nothing to do with it, namely their oppositions’ constituents, us.
In Maine, people over age 21 can carry concealed weapons without a permit, a law that changed in October 2015. However, the law prohibits people from carrying in places like bars or restaurants where on-site liquor consumption is allowed -- as long as the business posts that no firearms are allowed.
I wonder if the bowling alley was a posted site. And if the retired cop in there was drinking, he may have left his gun at home, or in the car.
Good observation! Might want to see what the spellchecker recommends though. :)
Show-business for ugly people....
I like Archie Bunker’s advice. In order to stop a hijacking, arm the passengers.
Predictable, I called this last night.
I see a pattern. Esteban Santiago-Ruiz, Ft. Lauderdale Airport shooter and Aaron Alexis, Navy Yard shooter and Card. All three are military and said they heard voices to kill people and authorities turned them loose on innocent civilians to kill.
I know, I have several numb fingers and make mistakes when in a hurry. If you look at my posting history I am usually more careful.
Exactly.
I predict that Car will get Oswalded, to prevent him from answering questions.
Sen Lindsay Graham is OK with US arms giveaways to foreign countries
but he is busy “hammering out” tougher gun control laws for us Americans.

Typical liberal thinking that Democrats are the answers to our problems. We don’t want your kind protecting us, with laws that restrict our right to protect ourselves. Get out of our way, and stop taking away our rights to protect ourselves, and our loved ones.
On the other hand, the number of murders in Maine, even with this event, are very low.
With the bio given, this seems very much like the type of guy who would have had access to most whatever kind of firearms he wanted.

Wasnt there a movie about the government putting in implants to do the very same thing?
