Israel gets rid of Hamas or their future is uncertain. The Israeli demographics are not great, the only people having kids are the Haredim (mostly takers) and the Pals. Israel’s future is tough enough without the shaman issues, losing this war (anything short of wiping out Hamas is a loss) I think spells the end of Israel as a functional nation sometime in the relatively near future. (30 years or less)

Why aren’t they moving? The reason is that they have been ordered not to by the Americans.

The reason is that Israel knows it cannot win a ground campaign in Gaza.

The October 7th debacle should have been an eye-opener for every Israeli. After seeing that, I'm honestly shocked that this guy has any confidence in the ability of the Israeli government to even get the mail delivered -- let alone invade a nest of snakes next door.

In World War II, the US Marines had to fight Japanese forces with large civilian populations at Saipan and Okinawa. The Marines did their best to save the civilian lives, but they still defeated the Japanese in savage combat.

Israel needs to take this same attitude. Save civilians when you can, but savagely and ruthlessly destroy Hamas.

Yes. Not in the American news: Gaza is raining down hundreds and thousands of rockets, every day. It is incredible, really. Check Israeli news sources. At least it is their propaganda, and they tell the truth about the rockets. US MSM - nothing.

Now is the time to eradicate Hamas and Islamic Jihad.

Is Victor not aware that over half of the world's Jews live in the United States? Israel doesn't even have a third of the global Jewish population.

I think you’re jumping to conclusions. The author is talking about the land exit from Gaza at the Sinai border, which is the most accessible route for evacuation; it does not mean that Egypt alone has to take in and absorb alone all the Palestinians. It means that from there the evacuees can be more readily dispersed to wherever, and to whatever countries agree to take them in.

Even though there are American hostages in Gaza, I say to Israel, STOP LISTENING TO OUR JOKE OF A PRESIDENT! Go into Gaza and get the job done, NOW. Any more deaths will be laid at the feet of Hamas and Iran.
