President Joe Biden is pressuring Israel to delay its ground invasion into Gaza in order to buy time to secure the release of more hostages.
Additionally, the Biden administration wants to buy time for more humanitarian aid to reach Palestinians and to prepare for possible attacks on U.S. interests in the region from Iran-backed groups, U.S. officials told The New York Times.
Israeli warplanes have been hitting targets across Gaza ahead of an expected ground invasion into the Hamas-led territory. Israeli officials want to eliminate Hamas - a goal the U.S. supports. Officials, however, worry such an invasion could lead to retaliation from Iran against American interests in the region.
White House spokesman John Kirby did not say the administration was pushing Israel to hold off its ground game but emphasized that America's focus is on the return of the hostages.
'We have been talking about our Israeli counter parts about their plans, their intentions, their strategy. We have been asking them for how they're answering the tough questions that any military is going to have to do before you go on and conduct major operation,' Kirby told CNN on Monday morning.
'The Israeli defense forces, they make these decisions themselves.'

So they release two at a time each week and Biden and his acolytes claim unending success and everyone buys it.

Hamas is going to slow walk hostages out onesie twosie for as long as they can. Time is their most precious commodity right now. The longer they can do it, the more the Irealies look like the bad guys for wanting to go in. Biden is a dick.
The rats, EU, UN are handcuffing Israel as expected. There will be no ground invasion and the cycle will repeat.

Not surprising the the hard left creeps in DC don’t want these hostages to be rescued.
Hezbollah will jump right on this show of weakness, and make no mistake, to them this show weakness on both the Iraeli and US sides.
Giving these people time allows them to set booby traps and harden targets.

They see weakness because it’s there.
The longer the attack is postponed the more time the terrorists have to prepare a defense.
The IDF knows what they are doing..they dont need any advice from diaper wearing dementia riddled buffoon that caused all this to happen in the first place. They are bombing to make it easier for them to invade and get the hostages out, and bombard Hamas non stop so they just say “here take them” and then go in and kill the rest of the hamas savages off

Biden is giving them the incentive to hold these hostages for years, like the Beruit hostages held by the Iranians.
Maybe Biden will send Hamas a Bible and a cake, in addition to more billions.
The IDF will have to take thousands of casualties if they are going to clean Hamas out of their tunnels.
Throughout history, the advantage is usually held by the besiegers. Certainly the Muslim radicals will booby-trap every place they can. However, the IDF will know this and respond appropriately. There are definitely simple and effective ways to lessen friendly casualties, so long as you can withstand the media’s scorn.
This was the plan since day one of this mess. Biden threatened Bibi with minimum help if he didn’t cooperate.
