A massive pro-Palestine protest that started at 12pm on October 21 saw the attendance of some 100,000 people, the Met Police said, with many groups pledging their support to Palestinians.
Among them were representatives of the LGBTQ+ community. But a video widely shared on social media appears to show uneasiness and lack of unity among some of the factions attending the event.
The clip, filmed in Trafalgar Square where the "March For Palestine" ended, initially shows a Progressive Pride Flag being waved.
Shortly after, the flag representing the LGBTQ+ community can be seen falling to the ground.
As people surrounded the flag bearer, it isn't clear whether the person waving it was attacked or if someone grabbed the symbol of inclusivity to tear it down.

Yep. But it will have no effect. These idiots don’t realize that if and when Sharia Law takes hold, all gays will be attending rooftop parties. Attendance will be mandatory.

Of course. You and I know the likely outcome there. But the LGBTQ community seems to live in a dreamworld that this will never happen to them. They think they’ll be able to prevent that from happening.
“Now just hang on - we’re all protected classes around here!” Looks like that “symbol of inclusivity” is being excluded. That’s a lesson I’m more than willing to watch being learned the hard way.
