South Carolina editorial board encourages GOP to clear the field for Haley to take on Trump (Nikki McRomBush)

The editorial board for The Post and Courier in South Carolina is encouraging the GOP to clear the field for former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley to take on former President Trump, arguing a crowded field will lead to Trump’s reelection.

“Donald Trump won the GOP nomination in 2016 not because he was the choice of most Republican primary voters; he was not,” an editorial op-ed for The Post and Courier read Saturday. “He won because, in a crowded field, he got more votes than any of his rivals in South Carolina, and then in later-voting states.”

The op-ed argued Trump remains unpopular among independents and “a large chunk” of Republicans and attributed his leading poll numbers to the crowded field of candidates “drowning each other out.”

“The result, if the field remains crowded, is that Mr. Trump will again win the nomination,” the op-ed read.

The editorial board went on to argue that a scenario in which Trump becomes the 2024 GOP presidential nominee is disastrous for voters across the political spectrum.

The op-ed said it would be a bad outcome for Republicans because Trump is “the least likely candidate to defeat President Joe Biden,” and for Democrats and independents “because there’s no guarantee that Mr. Biden would win a rematch.”

Laughable. But this is what they do.

The 2024 Republican nominee has already been chosen (Trump).

The pantywaists just can't come to terms with it.

In other words, Trump did not win because he got more votes, he won because he got more votes.

The uniparty strikes again, it is wide, deep, and everlasting until it is killed off when the nation collapses.

As one Biblical wag put it, “Has anything good ever come out of Nazereth?”
Transposed to the present: “Has anything good ever come out of South Carolina?” Nikki Haley? That’s the Republican savior?

1. Trump has 60% support ALREADY.

2. They are ASSUMING every vote for another candidate would go to Nimrata. Bad assumption. A significant percentage of those votes would go to Trump according to the polling that’s already been done of those voters. Push every other candidate out (if they could) and Trump’s support soars to well past 70%.

It does if Deep State is planning on not waiting for the general and will rig the primaries instead.

The more candidates to spread around stolen Trump votes the better.

GTrump is a leviathon cpomp[ared to Nikki Haley.

IN proportion to Trumps support she is like a gnat on an elephants arse.

BUt I imagine the networks , including Fox Nudes, will crank up the push polls to get as many Republican people converted into hand wringers as possible.

” OH woe is me, that dirty bugger Trump is going to be elected, its the end of America,” schtick. The fact is that the countrry club elites, like those of Georgia want to maintain the pork money train into their family coffers, they do not care wheter its Dem money of Republican money , just as long as it keeps rolling in.Trump can and will change that, and so .....WE need to attack those creating the hand wringers and reveal them for what they are. They already have effed COngress by refusing Jim Jordan.A few of these slush fund a$$hats need to be primaried out of existence, about 25 of them.

So, they want the GOP to “clear the field.” Just what sort of political thuggery or inducements are to be used? And to what limit if a candidate resists?

That may actually be the neocon/uniparty/GOPe/RINO’s strongest position to take, to a degree. (Without it appearing they have done so.)

That Vivek dude really exposed Nimrata for what she is. I’m paraphrasing here:

“Political candidates who push for endless wars while they are getting paid huge sums of money by defense contractors should have no place in our country.”

This woman announcing she wants to allow Pali refugees into the USA should have been the final death knell of her Presidential aspirations. That it apparently was not, for many, just shows how many idiots we have. Anyone who would allow Pali refugees into the USA IS UNACCEPTABLE! Anyone who supports such a person IS UNACCEPTABLE!

“The op-ed said it would be a bad outcome for Republicans because Trump is “the least likely candidate to defeat President Joe Biden,””

Joe Biden will definitely not be the democrat nominee next year. And if he is, Trump will crush him in an election. And, if Biden were to fairly win the election, then the nation will have long since been over due to the utter stupidity of the voters.

Does anyone actually believe the voters would reelect a president who has made their lives torment?
