Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. supports issuing reparations to the black community, making him the most prominent 2024 candidate to favor the controversial policy meant to atone for slavery and legal segregation.
President Biden has largely been silent on the issue, leading to frustration among the far left.

I want reparations from the black community for the security cameras that I have to put up because of them. For emotional stress from the high black fkr that tried to gain entry into my apartment three weeks ago. Reparations from them for my share of taxes thats gone to everything from funding their abortions to welfare to affirmative action programs, crime programs, black awareness programs, public defenders, billboard ads... fk.
Looks like the Political Right has dodged a major bullet.
I was certain that RFK would pull Independents away from Trump.

Reparations doesn’t seem to fit under the ‘Independent’ banner—more fitting for an Autonomist’s platform.
This ONLY helps if the Republicans are willing to let the country know his position on reparations, because the media sure as hell will not publicize it...but the media will made damn sure that EVERY Republican voter knows where RFK stands on vaccines.

If other policy issues of RFK Jr. hadn’t seen the light of day, that would have been a deal breaker.
There are many issues with RFK Jr. but reparations is deal breaker for me regarding any candidate.

He might say the things people want to hear about the CDC and the shots, outside of that he’s as Left as they come.
Every day, it seems, that people still so easily fall for anything these people say.
Granted, if I were President tomorrow I’d have him in the Oval Office and give him the opportunity to go after all of them, with extreme prejudice. See if he’s legit.

I’m not in favor of most of what Kennedy proposes with regard to this on the link to his website in the article.
However Trump seems to have many similar programs advertised on his website as well, called the Platinum Plan for blacks.
Kennedy’s sounds worse, but not tremendously. It’s all vote bribing either way, using handouts which history shows are usually wasted.
In any case, I'm not interested in his ideas on reparations. No one who was a slave in the US is alive today. Most white Americans are descended from people who were dirt-poor in the 19th century, or who came to America after 1865, and had no involvement in slavery.
If slavery is so bad, why isn't anyone working to end it where it still exists today?

This will drain even more of the nitwit vote from Biden, and bring back most of the Trump hating Republicans who thought that RFKj would be a non-Democrat alternative.
