As the U.S. birth rate falls, immigration reform may be ‘the answer hiding in plain sight,’ analyst says

As the U.S. fertility rate continues to fall, there are growing concerns about the long-term economic impact: A smaller population means less tax revenue, which could reduce funding for programs such as Social Security and Medicare.

But immigration policy reform could be one solution, some experts say.

The U.S. birth rate fell slightly in 2022 compared with 2021, with roughly 3.7 million babies born nationwide, and the birth rate still hasn’t recovered to pre-pandemic levels, according to an initial analysis from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

A growing concern for economists, the U.S. fertility rate has generally been below the replacement rate — which is needed to maintain the current population — since 1971 and has consistently been below the replacement rate since 2007.

The default position of every economist is always more people. Why?

The reason the birthrate is down.

A lot of it is that women are extremely picky nowadays when it comes to picking their mates. They never find the "one", so they end up childless. Or if they're lucky, they'll have one child out of wedlock and that will be it.

To keep our economy growing. Otherwise, it will stagnate and then decline slowly like Japan.

I recall one Brit saying years ago that we (Brits) were buggering, contracepting, and aborting ourselves to oblivion. Same thing is happening here. The left is to blame.

Maybe it’s time to at least stop the encouragement of homosexuality, lesbianism, and abortion.

Our economy shouldn't be based on a Ponzi scheme.

Our natives are not reproducing.

Only because the government school indoctrination centers tell them they are bad for the environment.

Odd they don't tell that to the "Hispanics."

How about 40 million native born Americans aborted? Could a cohesive presentation of of the collateral damage made consistently over time change the attitudes of our current pro-abort immediate gratification population? It would take a Jonah to Nineveh moment.

“The experts said we were all gonna die of overpopulation in 1971 and that’s one of the big reasons the birth rate went to hell.”

Agreed.

Divide the U.S. national debt by our population and it comes to somewhere around $100,000 per person.

Divide it by the number of WORKERS in the U.S. and it comes to about $180,000 per person. For a married couple, that’s like having a $360,000 mortgage — without a home to go with it.

In 2023, “immigration reform” is all about scouring the world, looking for people who are desperate enough, or dumb enough, to think that’s a good deal.

The RAT analists want to replace rowdy and disobedient Americans with low I.Q., obedient slaves who will bow and kiss their asses.

So does GOP, Inc., in case you haven't noticed.

If thats true then only two classes will be left

Obviously they will go after the people and businesses of the rich

Any minor infraction will be used to wipe them out and take all their assets and businesses

Another idea is if theres just poor and rich, the poor wont have money, so they wont have access to it. If they have anything it will just be govt welfare credits, but not money. They will be more like food stamps, but not technically considered money.
