She had a Black Mitzvah.

But seriously:

https://www.pewresearch.org › short-reads › 2015 › 07 › 27 › the-most-and-least-racially-diverse...

The most and least racially diverse U.S. religious groups

Seventh-day Adventists top the list with a score of 9.1: 37% of adults who identify as Seventh-day Adventists are white, while 32% are black, 15% are Hispanic, 8% are Asian and another 8% are another race or mixed race.

Somebody ought to know this. Jehovah's Witnesses are similar.

sigh.... there are too many religions to stay up to date with all their religiosity. I forgot about the seventh day group.

I remember seeing a big demonstration on TV years ago, I think it was one of the Tea Party events in DC.

There was an older, mature Black man who somehow identified himself as a Christian. I don’t know if he carried a sign, or gave a talk, or what.

A young adolescent-looking smartass walked up to him and said that the man was of African descent, and he shouldn’t be a Christian. Kid said the older man should be a Muslim. “That should be your religion”.

I thought I’d never seen anything so insulting and ignorant.
