That’s a good and clear explanation.

I really wish that you would stick to the topic at hand. The topic is Israel and its actions in bombing the airports at Damascus and Aleppo, not US involvement.

I completely share all of your concerns about a third world war. However, I did not say a single word concerning US involvement in what is going on over in the Middle East right now. I am upset enough about our involvement in Ukraine, and our pushing to escalate that conflict, in opposition to a power that has 6000 nuclear weapons. I am not anxious to see a Third World war during my lifetime, and I do plan on living for at least another 20 or 30 years. I also have a 19-year-old son, and I’m not anxious to have him fight either Joe Biden’s war or a banker’s war, as so many tens of millions did during World War I and World War II.

However, it is my belief that we are already in World War III. The west in general, and the US in particular, have four main enemies: Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea. In my opinion, they are coordinating their actions so as to constantly be both diverting our attention, and making us draw down on our resources. The fact that we have an administration that is at best stupid, and at worst treasonous, does not help us. Round one, still ongoing, is the war in Ukraine. That has led to the drawdown of most of Europe’s stocks of various munitions, and a serious draw down on our stocks. Now we’re busy supplying Israel, because of what’s going on in that part of the world. I suspect that the next stage will be a Chinese invasion of Taiwan . We’re in it already, which anybody would see if they take a few steps backward and look at the entire forest instead of one or two trees here or there.

Again, I was simply addressing your statement that Israel had committed an act of war by bombing the airports in Damascus and Aleppo. No, they did not. Those airports have been used for many years to supply both Hamas and Hezbollah. You *might* have heard that Israel is currently embroiled in a rather brutal conflict with Hamas, and there are numerous people, including me, who have pointed out that Hezbollah is currently launching rockets and other ordnance at Israel’s North. For Israel to not bomb supply centers for their enemies is for them to invite more misery upon themselves. No sane nation embroiled in a war would do differently. Syria is the one, since it controls both airports and knows very well what cargo is landing and moving out (and protects on the way to Lebanon), which has committed an act of war - Israel is just responding.

Based on comments of yours that I have observed over quite some period of time, I like you and I agree with you the vast majority of the time. You’re just wrong on this issue. Please take a step back from your concern over US involvement in this entire mess in the Middle East for a moment, and look at the specifics of what is going on between Israel and its enemies. That is the topic of this particular thread. As I mentioned above, I really hope and pray that we can avoid getting involved in world war three, but I fear that were already involved. But that is a separate issue.

“They still don’t have it.”
——————-
And you know this how, exactly? They claim not to have it, because to do so would invite both Israel in the United States to invade, or otherwise significantly destroy their country. That they haven’t deployed one as an act of war, that’s true. It doesn’t mean they don’t have them at all. Iran has made enormous efforts to conceal what they are doing WRT nuclear technology from the entire world. They are not stupid. We don’t know for sure what they have, and if some intelligence agencies do, they’re not telling anybody on this thread.

You just don’t know, any more than I do.

Shipments of arms can go to Hezbollah in Lebanon so the action in Syria makes sense. I dont like the escalation, but i understand it

Ancient city of Aleppo.

Antioch, Acre, Damascus—all on the pilgrims route to Jerusalem. Acre and Jaffa fortified port towns and the Templar fortress of Krak des Chevaliers are of particular note throughout the constant conflicts in Middle East.

There has to be a strategic reason for Israel bombing the Damascus airport— no doubt supply lines from the allies to Hamas, and the recent attacks piled on from Hezbollah (encouraged by Iran, acc. to analysts).

The airports are used to ship missiles from Iran to Hezbollah. That’s why the runways were taken out.

You might also want to look at my post number 123, which is in response to number 68.

A big war that Biden helped facilitate? How does that help him?

That’s a heavy conclusion to jump to. Have you heard of satellites?…

You did not refer to satellites. You referred to the article, which is by Arab News.

I have full confidence in the IDF. I have confidence in the Israeli government. What I don’t have confidence in is a West filled with leftist traitors. Leave Israel to handle this, and they will do quite well.

Since Alzheimer Man sent $6B to Iran, and what is happening, we have a legit cause of action to initiate Treason Proceedings against him, the Sec Def, and the members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff he installed

Reportedly the airport is used by Iran to ship missiles to Hezbollah. Israel has bombed it before.

BREAKING:
The Airbus A340 carrying the Iranian Foreign Affairs Minister about to land in Damascus also had several commanders of the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps on board and several tons of anti-tank missiles for Hezbollah.

Israel bombed the airport.
(the airplane went back to Iran without landing) (Those anti-tank missiles were prolly for Hezbollah. Who killed 8 IDF with one two days ago)

We aren’t going to have to wait a year for Trump. Did you see his remarks in Iowa where he held up the portfolio that contained his speech notes to his chest and then drew a circle around the seal on the back with his finger? It was the Presidential seal. I seriously doubt The Biden look a like is commanding the military.

Did you hear Trump say in a recent speech he’s in his second term and its not going so well or words to that effect?
