Largest Hindu temple outside India in the modern era opens in New Jersey
The Hindu ^

After 12 years of planning and construction, the largest Hindu temple outside India in the modern era is ready to open to the public in Robbinsville, New Jersey

If stones could talk, sing and tell stories, Yogi Trivedi believes the marble and limestone that adorn the spires, pillars and archways of the stunning Hindu temple in central New Jersey would compose a paean to the divine.

The tales these stones tell are those of seva (selfless service) and bhakti (devotion), which form the core of the Swaminarayan sect, a branch of Hinduism, said Mr. Trivedi, a scholar of Hinduism at Columbia University.

It took a combined total of about 4.7 million hours of work by artisans and volunteers to hand-carve about 2 million cubic feet of stone. The four varieties of marble from Italy and limestone from Bulgaria traveled first to India and then over 8,000 miles across the world to New Jersey.

They were then fitted together like a giant jigsaw to create what is now touted as the largest Hindu temple outside India to be built in the modern era, standing on a 126-acre tract. It will open to the public on Monday.

Spiritualists use a sunflower as a symbol. Many New Age people use an Egyptian Ankh.

Our healthcare system would be in deep trouble without them.
Physicians, pharmacists, techs.
You may not like them - but they would be difficult to replace.

Feel bad for the people who have to live next to this third world trash.

Is there a difference between "third world trash" (who BTW are mostly scientists, doctors and other white collar workers) and good ole "merican" white angle saxon protestant trash? Asking for a friend

They are our enemy, flooding the US with their excess population, tribal castes, and cesspool culture.

Yeah that first amendment thing can be pesky can't it? Besides, they eat funny foods and smell. Oh well, today is Sunday. You can go to church, play the "I'm a good Christian schitk" for an hour and come out and want to deport anybody who is different. To some (and I said some) around these parts, it's as American as apple pie

I don't have any problems with the Indians who came here. They followed our laws and did what our laws allowed them to do.

If we want to blame anyone then we need to look in the mirror and start with the people staring back at us. We voted FOR this, not at the poles but with our consumer dollars. We had to have our cheap labor so we could get our products and services cheaper. Whether we're still getting that or not is debatable judging by inflation, but it's what we wanted.

Now we're supposed to hate them for what we did? No.

“re; “Why was this allowed?”

it is called THE FIRST AMENDMENT OF THE U.S. CONSTITUTION.

you know, the t’ing , that we both swore an oath to defend.”

Absolutely. The hypocrisy about this is absolutely incredible. If we consider Constitutional rights as “selective and privileged, only for me but not for thee”, then we no longer deserve them. There may come a time when Islam is the majority and they follow that same example of selective hypocrisy.

It reminds me of a mission statement once posted on the website for the “CONSTITUTIONAL” Party. “We strictly support the Constitution’s 1st amendment and freedom of religion... As long as it is a recognized form of Christianity”.

WHAT???

Yep, we surrender America, allow invasion and the end result we get temples and mosques, our workers and citizens are displaced by invaders, our culture is destroyed. India is no more our friend than others, we should not be allowing them here, colonizing America.

Then change the Constitution to prevent it. Until then it stands for all and is not designed to be selective or compromised. We have to be careful what we ask for or it will kick back and chew us up. Should freedom of speech be selective and compromised? Should the 2nd amendment be selective and compromised?.

remember the wolfman larry talbot saw a pentagram in the girls hand.

the pentagram goes back to the Pythagorean 5 elements- clockwise from rightside point -air fire ewater earth aether on top. aether overrsees all. now satanists go upside down where they control aether.

Funny thing is, There are no real threats from another religion in our country at this point in time. We are not being overwhelmed by Hinduism. So it is based on absolute hate and purism. Which is the exact reason for 1st amendment protections.

United states religion from Wikipedia:

Religion (2021)[7]

63% Christianity
-40% Protestantism
-21% Catholicism
-2% other Christian
29% unaffiliated
