What choice does he have, if Zelensky wants the flow of $200 BILLION of US money to continue? If he REALLY supported Israel, meaning Jews, he would work with Putin to De-Nazify Ukraine...but nothing about that yet.

History of the formation of the 14th Waffen SS aka 1st Galacian division is online - its development and formation (1943), its initial deployment in the winter of 1944, and major combat, about 30% surviving Russian attacks during the summer of 1944, may be studied.
The division was reformed in the second half of the 1944 summer, followed by service in Slovakia, Slovenia, and Austria.
Yaroslav Hunka volunteered to join up, in 1944, when he was 18-19 years old.
Survivors - captured by American and British troops, were handed over to Polish military authority and operations in Italy.
War crimes investigations followed, there, and under Allied Authority, and for the Nuremburg Trials, and by Canada - and again by Canada in 1985.

Although the Waffen-SS as a whole was declared to be a criminal organization at the Nuremberg Trials, the Galician Division has not specifically been found guilty of any war crimes by any war tribunal or commission. It is difficult to determine the extent of war criminality among members of the division.
If prior service in Nazi police units is a measure of criminality, only a small number were recruited from established police detachments. The population of Russia is over 3 times the size of the Ukraine, therefore there may be more Nazis in Russia. But maybe not.
The Azov neo Nazis were recently 'integrated' into the Ukrainian National Guard; apparently it was an attempt to tone down public objection to funding a Ukrainian neo Nazi branch of the military. There are public celebrations in the Ukraine of Banderas and he's still claimed as a hero of national honor. Zelensky and Trudeau honored a Ukrainian Nazi (from WWII) recently until they needed to claim they had no idea who he was when they were honoring him.
When Ukrainians were sent to neighboring countries to learn how to operate donated tanks, they kept drawing swastika's on them so they had to be reminded not to do that.
There are pictures of Ukrainian soldiers wearing 'black sun' and other neo Nazi iconography.
The head of the Ukrainian military wears a bracelet with a Swastika on it. Journalists have been complaining about the 'Nazi problem' in the Ukraine right up until it became politicallly useful to the Deep State to stop all mention of that and accuse Russia or being Nazis instead, you know ,because the Soviets fought Germany in WWII, right down to hand-to-hand combat between unarmed citizens and German soldiers. (Nazi debates are the one time the Ukrainian advocates do not conflate the Soviets with Russia is when mention of the war in which the Soviets fought the Germans).
