Supertramp- maybe the most underrated band in history.
That song is so haunting.. it was released just after a sibling passed away…..
This version of Moon River:

Not so much for Mancini’s daughter, but, the recording and the harmonies are exquisite on a really good stereo system. (Just ok on headphones). I was privileged to hear this on a system that had to cost well over $50,000, including Jim Thiele’s then recently released CS3.7 speakers. Almost unbelievable (because it was so “believable”!) imaging, smoothness, and lack of distortion...
And in a completely different vein (but still a good recording for live rock) Uriah Heep (live recording of Sunrise):

(not bad vocal chops there at the end for a guy usually rated as their 3rd best singer!)
If you want both Sun and Moon in the same song (this part is a sort of confrontation between good and evil):
” But when the night is over, and daytime steals your cover
The goodness of the morning sun will warm away what you have done
And leave you cold
.... I have no need for moonlight, you’re wrong to trust in sunlight
.... For I exist, not just in storms, but in life itself in so many forms
.... To leave you cold “

Don't touch the moon.
I need it for loving.
Don't touch the stars.
I need them, too.
All you frantic scientists,
Find something else to do.

I’ll follow the Sun, the Beatles
How did everyone forget this one?
