Good grief, the quitters and burners are indeed coming out of the woodwork.
No plan, just a burn it all down mentality.
I think that it is evil and mindless to wish to “burn it all down”. Fire kills good and bad alike. I am ashamed to be part of a site with people who have such an attitude.

We removed Cantor, then we removed Boehner, then we elected Trump, now we have removed McCarthy.

Not surprising, but his odds are fairly long after this power play.
The real question is, will those who stood behind him last time continue to stand behind him now. If so, then we’re right back to the beginning of this Congress and it could take much longer to settle on a successor.
In the meantime, the house cannot do even more damage to the country, so there is that to consider, even if only a short reprieve.
