McCarthy speaker vote live updates: Republicans fail to stop motion to oust him
Gaets got almost a dozen Republicans to join Rats to destroy Republican majority in the house.

Translation is, we’re screwed.
All he had to do is keep his promises.

The attempt to block a vote removing McCarthy came up short.
This vote allows the motion to vacate to proceed to a vote. It does not mean he will be removed. Some of these No votes could change such that there won’t be enough in the final vote to remove him.
7 of the 11 R votes have to support the motion to vacate for it to succeed. 6 would be a tie.
McCarthy has been screwing us since he became Speaker.
His lies and broken promises are catching up with him.
We've been screwed whenever we've had any kind of majority in both the House and Senate. Republicans are gutless wonders, and always will be. They're the uni-party.
The hysteria needs to stop. McCarthy is not an honest man. He did not keep any promises so far. He needs to be punished for that.
The motion to vacate. (Get rid of McCarthy). Next step is to actually remove him from the Speakership. Then the House will be without a Speaker. It could stay that way for a long time as far as I am concerned. A new speaker needs to be elected. Of course, RINOs will get their way.
It means the House will now/next proceed to vote whether to keep the Speaker or oust him.
If the Table motion had passed, no vote would be taken on whether to keep or oust the Speaker.

This is a power move now. Matt, I give you permission to allow Trump to save McCarthy’s job if the Repukes are able to put an end to the primaries right now and start going after Biden. I have enjoyed his, “what difference does it make, at this point” attitude.
