I am a full time Trump supporter, but Trump can;’t stop the invasion(will not) either. It all comes down to cheap slave labor and money. Money wins every time.

Because Reagan was influenced by Deep State to support and sign the bill, there were several parts of it NEVER attempted or badly executed to try and control further illegal entry:
1) Requiring employers to stipulate that their employees had legal immigration status,
2) Making it illegal for an employer to knowingly hire an illegal immigrant,
3) Creating a guest worker plan for certain seasonal agricultural workers, and
4) Increasing enforcement personnel on the U.S. borders.
Legalizing the illegal immigrants who entered the country before Jan. 1, 1982 and had been U.S. residents continuously since then, in exchange for back taxes, fines and admission of entering the country illegally.
No follow up, no control, and those provisions that were addressed were given Deep State lip service and then business as usual.
To start off with Reagan to blame and then hustle on off to Trump’s Fault is pretty duplicitous in my book. Trump, Covid, blah, blah.....just an excuse for whatever reason one wants to try and foist this off on real conservatives.
In just the 2-3 years of that puke Biden we’ve seen a cataclysmic destruction of our border control system. Our border is just a line on a damned map, and Reagan and Trump DID NOT DO THAT!
When I was a kid there were commercials on TV telling “resident aliens” to register once a year.
It would be an entire cottage industry to have them all register annually.
I am not against immigrants, per se. I just want there to be legal means of immigration..and I don’t want to pay for them to be here. Let them come legally, let them work, and let them pay taxes. And no…they don’t get to vote until they get citizenship. And any ID they are issued is clear enough that they cannot use it to register to vote.
There are ways to do this whole immigration thing. But it keeps us divided so the idiots in Congress won’t do anything.

Even if you guard the border and shoot everyone coming in, it’d take a cooperative government to identify who already here is illegal vs legal.

One reason I don’t post much on immigration threads is that I knew this in the 1960s and it is too horrible to keep discussing with newcomers, I was a young 1960s heavy reader of multiple daily newspapers and all the many news magazines, I watched Firing Line etc., and knew what the 1965 Immigration Act meant and could read that European countries and Britain were adopting similar immigration laws which broke my heart even then and at that age, I knew what time would mean.
Living in Houston and being poor I watched as the transition started and I could no longer find the jobs or cheap apartments that my teen self needed.
America needs to end ALL immigration, we filled up decades ago and these new people since 1970 have ruined us. Legal immigration in effect is no different than illegal, it is foreigners that are killing us, not the first few years of what some papers say. “All” means in effect zero immigration except for a few thousand administrative entrances annually for people who need to come in for some important and unusual reason.
As far as a real solution, who knows, the core-American vote is already outnumbered by foreign replacement voters, i.e. California (the white voters didn’t change, they got outnumbered). As we can see with this current Democratic Party president, the left has the foreign-born numbers to ignore us. Enough of the wall was built that we could see how easily the left, the media, the foreign-born, and their offspring voters would deal with it, they dealt with it pretty easily.
Evidently, people are fine with living on top of each other as our population grows to 500 million, 700, and then into the billions and life consists of simple work, supplementary welfare, apartments, mass transportation, turnstile ticket buying recreation, and an all-powerful government imposing order and efficiency over our madhouse confused, barely functional and barely competent population. We will live our entire lives indoors, keep our heads down, and live and die as worker bees, living through digital distractions and entertainment.
Whites will of course be hated and oppressed as they have to watch their countries rewrite their personal histories and adopt a future based on overcoming the evils and the backwardness of the white aging portion of their populations and their white ancestors, this time whites aren’t facing an invading army that can be driven away, today they are facing the inevitability of the new genetics of reproduction in their own nations. It is Western Civilization and its people that have become not something for the world to aspire to, but to overcome and erase.
You can talk tough, and talk about walls. But unless you enforce the law and concentrate on workplace enforcement, nothing will happen. The America of long ago has passed, and voting R' or D' will change nothing.
The best thing to do is take care of your family, yourself, and prepare to fight orcs and goblins on a daily basis.

Summarizing some recent headlines:
1. A huge proportion of the 10 million or so “migrants” brought in by the Biden regime are military age males.
2. US military services cannot meet their recruiting goals, in part because so many young people are physically or mentally unfit.
3. US leadership has decided not to recruit, or with the new Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, maybe not to allow, white males, reducing the recruitment pool significantly.
4. Neocons in the State Department and elsewhere in Washington are working hard to stir up war with Russia and/or China, which would entail massive US troop losses.
5. The military and the military industrial complex are sounding the alarm that the world is so dangerous that we must bring back the draft.
So now my questions.
Where, oh, where is the military going to find sufficient numbers of young men to draft?
Would recruitment be helped if we changed the rules to allow drafting or recruiting illegal immigrants?
