In fact I do not believe it is yet

Wil try to include a link to a photo next
Pense ping.
Sounds like a Chicom invasion to collapse the US power grid.
Something that's easier to push than the others.
The acceleration seems ok for $11K.
How quick will it catch a garage on fire though?
Is this China’s version of the Yugo?
A safe battery technology and 190 mile range - could be a game- changer indeed.

BYD made the electric buses that Albuquerque was planning to sue. The were such absolute crap that the super progressive mayor refused them.
It won’t cost that here
BYD’s Seagull Has Sodium-Ion Battery
For scale.
Not to worry. The auto unions will push their government flunkies to implement so many expensive “safety features” through regulation that the vehicle will become unaffordable.
A lightweight micro car slicing it up with American pickups and SUVs. And somehow, I doubt it will be sold for 11,400 in America or pass the massive DOT safety rules.
Mostly legitimately, but also due to political corruption in defense of Autoworkers who will oppose it tooth and nail.
“Could Revolutionize the US Market”
“Touted as a game-changer for the EV industry”
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I wo’t believe it until the BOOM and BLOCKBUSTER superlatives are used
they can go on and on about battery cars
they are still battery cars
Is there a place for your golf bag?
My problem is having one of these CHEAPLY made EV’s in my garage. China has a known problem with their EV’s spontaneously combusting. Even SAIC, which I believe is the ‘highest quality’ EV maker in China has a problem.
I’d rather buy a used Chevy Bolt for under $20k.
Throwaway cars. Probably fine for inner city commuters/runabouts if they don’t mind spending a small fortune on electricity and have a place to park and charge them away from buildings.
Put them away for winter and hot days of summer, so good for maybe 6 months a year.
Harbor Freight has a spot for them.
