A lightweight micro car slicing it up with American pickups and SUVs. And somehow, I doubt it will be sold for 11,400 in America or pass the massive DOT safety rules.
Mostly legitimately, but also due to political corruption in defense of Autoworkers who will oppose it tooth and nail.

Small. But no EVs are truly lightweight.
2,557 pounds, which is a couple hundred pounds more than the Fiat 500, and a thousand more than a SmartCar.

Yep, no way it sells for $11,400 in the good old USA. The optional blinker fluid will run at least $4000 if bought from the dealer.

Elon Musk has lamented about the difficulties in meeting DOT rules to sell in the USA. Those Chinese mini-cars will not pass safety-crash tests or have any of the required safety devices built-in, without doubling their costs.
