Democrats keep winning special elections in battleground states
the Hill ^ | 09/20/23 | DENNIS AFTERGUT

Elections are the answer to Trumpism, which aims to undermine the Constitution that protects our freedoms.

Yesterday, we saw the antidote at work once again, and in battleground states, in special elections for state House seats in New Hampshire and Pennsylvania. Both victories were consistent with a 2023 national trend, with abortion-rights Democrats overperforming in the wake of the 2022 Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade, the 1973 decision that legalized abortion nationally.

There’s other ways to tackle abortion, but too many Republicans are burning down the whole house just to get to the top floor.

She was overwhelmingly reelected in January 2023 for another 2-year term.

What can we say if our fellow Republicans elect someone who’s too liberal for us. I have no answers but just observing this apparently is where the Republican party is.

Can we get a strong conservative to run in January 2025?

What is the answer if the Republican Party overwhelmingly elect a leader who is too liberal for us.

I have no answers. The next GOP leader election would be in January of 2025.

Maybe the Republican party is too liberal for all of us here on Free Republic. So then where does that leave us?

Do we support the Republican party anyway because they’re not as liberal as Democrats?

Abortion handed the dems the keys to election wins.. I don’t think it was worth it when we lose everything for it, but antinl loons asked for it.

Fraud definitely occurs...

But the base continuing to sit on their behinds and keeping their wallets closed cannot be blamed on that. The Democrat base has no such problem getting organized and shelling out the cash and working their tails off. Can’t keep giving the Democrats every advantage (which they will of course use) and then just blame it all on fraud. They are outworking, out-raising, and out organizing us. Plus, they also have the media squarely in their corner.

2018, 2020, 2022, and now 2023 - the GOP/MAGA base sitting on their behinds and keeping their wallets closed - leaving even their own preferred candidates twisting in the wind and allowing the Democrats to crush them without the resources to fight back. The fundraising numbers in the Kentucky election are also staggering for the Democrats and lackluster for the Republicans. Why should be we believe 2024 will be any different?

Flame away all you want - Trump / MAGA have made this party as lazy as it has been in my lifetime. Showing up and partying among themselves at rallies, car and boat parades, etc. does not convince a single person in the middle to vote for Trump or any Republican candidate. It does not counter the onslaught of ads defining the issues for people sitting at home watching Andy Griffith.

This lackluster campaigning and allowing the Democrats and the media to control and define the narratives at every turn has to stop. This is a completely voluntary action to allow this. Trump’s campaign organization most certainly has the contacts to mobilize supporters and train them on the importance of funding our candidates...this has not occurred - not even for his own campaign in 2020. A few major calls to action funds his Senate candidates in 2018, 2022, his own campaign in 2020, and again the candidates in 2023. This could erase Dem advantages overnight. Beshear in Kentucky just announced raising $15 million. A few calls to action by an actually organized movement could match this within a day, erasing Beshear’s advantage. Isn’t happening. Hasn’t happened. Probably won’t happen.

Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

— Goal #15 of the 45 communist goals for the USA
Perhaps many of the voters are naïve, but the GOP itself is firmly loyal to the Uniparty it helped create.

So fraud definitely occurs but doesn’t occur. Please make up your mind.

So anyone who has something stolen from them is a “loser”, and the stealer is vindicated?

This is not the place for fraud denial. Opus?

If supporting the sacrificing innocent children on the altar of Molech is the price of saving the republic, then it isn’t worth saving.

It's great way to come under God's judgement, as well.

America will not ever be saved from her enemies if God's hand is against her because of the slaughter of those millions of innocents.

Unfortunately, women make up the majority of pro-choice voting. I think the real problem is the 19th amendment.

How leftist of you to deny your political opponents the right to vote because you don't like how they vote.

Other demographics vote a large majority of democrat. Are you going to propose repealing the 15th amendment as well?

What about voting based on religion? Certain religious groups vote largely democrat. Would you deny them the right to vote because you disagree with their voting patterns?

Or is it only women who are fair game? Y'all hate women as much as leftists do.

Do you all ever stop to think how you'd feel if the left put in voting restrictions on you because you were a white male?

How is what you are proposing any different?

Besides, what is swinging the elections is more vote fraud than people groups. Don't forget what Biden said before the election, that he didn't need our votes, and that they had the election fraud machine all ready in place.

We can’t compete against vote fraud.

THAT is what is swinging the elections.

And the answer to that is to aggressively contest and prosecute vote fraud, but too many RINOS in politics are either bought out, or in on it, or actually democrats who lied and ran as republicans and then voted how they wanted anyways with no thought of representing the people who elected them.

Well she is doing her best to do nothing. When will the rank and file of The GOP decide they have had enough? When will Uni Party Rinos be driven from this party? Right now the only thing making me vote GOP is Donald Trump. If he goes, the GOP goes.
