We weren’t provided frags on the boats. We used concussion grenades mainly to discourage swimmers or toss on suspicious things floating in the water. In the open air a concussion grenade from 15 or 20 feet isn’t too bad. Loud but no fragments IIRC. Will definitely blow a foot wide hole in a wooden boat deck though. Very dangerous to mess with. Those two morons spent a lot of time on “special duties” after the Bosun Chief reamed them new a-holes for a half hour.
