I have to admit, I was shocked when I first saw this clip.
There’s been a lot of talk about Trump’s recent interview on SiriusXM’s “The Megyn Kelly Show,” but his answer to what may have been one of the most important questions was so horrifying awful, I can’t even wrap my head around it.
During the interview, Megyn Kelly asked Trump a very simple question: “Can a man become a woman?”
Easy, right? The answer is “No, absolutely not.” It’s not complex or complicated. There’s no room for nuance, different points of view, or interpretation. A man cannot become a woman. A woman cannot become a man. There’s no gender spectrum, nor are there more than two genders.
Yet, in response to the easy question, Trump first replied with an “Ummmmmm,” then a chuckle, before saying, “In my opinion, you have a man, you have a woman. I think part of it is birth. Can the man give birth? No, although they’ll come up with some answer to that also someday. I heard just the other day they have a way that now the man can give birth. No, I would say I’ll continue my stance on that.”
What kind of an answer is that? Look, the sad reality is that there is no middle ground on this issue. Trump may be strongly against the mutilation of children by the transgender cult, but it feels like Trump is trying to have it both ways on this transgender nonsense, and you just can’t.
Sure, he banned transgender people in the military and is against giving children puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones and such, but at the root of this issue isn’t merely whether or not a kid has the mental capacity to consent to transitioning,

It's a ONE WORD answer and that is, NO, period, none of the wishy washy, gibber jabber that Trump was spewing, smh, wth is he doing? Is he going after the mentally ill woke vote?
Post 10.
Also, feel free to say what I’m deflecting.
“No. He did not.”
Like I say, some people on this site can’t understand the English language. Maybe English is your second language.
“in response to the easy question Trump first replied, etc.” is the snarky intro by a DeSantis supporter.
“In my opinion, you have a man, you have a woman.”
That is his first “no.”
“I think part of it is birth. Can the man give birth? No,”
That is his second “no.”
“No, I would say I’ll continue my stance on that.”
That is his third “no” that should even be clear to the most rabid DeSantis supporter.
“Why don’t you guys who think Trump is perfect go away?”
Nobody thinks Trump is perfect - no human is perfect. And before you say it, none of us worship Trump or belong to a cult either. That kind of rhetoric is all part of a straw-man narrative hatched by Trump’s enemies to suggest that his supporters are irrational - we are not.
If you are as solid a Trump voter as you say you are, and truly want him to win, then stop letting yourself be used as a tool of his enemies - by repeating their straw-man narratives.
What kind of an answer is that?
The correct one.
Men and women are what they are birth. A man can't give birth.
This just another example of Never Trump/establishment Republican freaks desperately trying to smear Trump, in this case by trying to claim he supports transgenderism when he clearly doesn't.
He clearly said no, and said it in a way that a large number of people would agree.
Would it be better if he said no in a way that a smaller number of people would agree?
I think, knowing Trump over the years, he’s just being cagey. He’s basically vaguely saying, “No, but society will eventually figure that out.”
Yes. Internet commenters are focused on the day's battle and charge right in and change nothing. Trump is looking ahead.
He clearly said no.
RE: if you are as solid a Trump voter as you say you are,
I don’t need you to tell me how I voted in the past two Presidential elections. I know what I did.
RE: and truly want him to win, then stop letting yourself be used as a tool of his enemies - by repeating their straw-man narratives.
What I said his TRUE as far as his use of pronouns for men like Bruce Jenner and it is NOT a straw man. And his winning or losing is NOT contingent on a little mistake like this. It will be based on how much CHEATING there will be in 2024 as in 2020
RE: Uh no, I think Trump was pretty clear. 🙄
Then call Bruce Jenner by his correct pronoun : HE.
RE: if you can not comprehend what you read, why are you here?
I’m here ( for decades) because like you, I have the right to voice my opinion. What’s wrong with my comprehension when I read that he referred to MEN like Bruce Jenner with female pronouns?
RE: Go back to your TV news
PJ Media is NOT your run of the mill TV News. I have nothing to go back to.
RE: Sounds like Matt Margolis is coming down with a case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
How is a little criticism of Trump TDS? is Trump so perfect that pointing out a mistake he made now equivalent to being deranged?
Taking part of an answer and working himself into a lather about is a bit over the top. Sounds like something democrats do. I saw one democrat column working themselves into a lather about Trump saying he’s ahead of 0bama in the polls. If people want to criticize Trump, they should feel free to do so, but at least those supposedly on our side should restrict themselves to major points, not nitpicky BS.
Sorry if I overreacted.
I was referring to your “you guys who think Trump is perfect” comment. That is the language used by the enemies of MAGA. Nobody thinks Trump is perfect.
SINCE you are a strong Trump voter (and I believe you are), you shouldn’t use the language of his enemies.
For a year or so, there has been an element here on FR that wants to divide us by instigating a feud between DeSantis supporters and Trump supporters. They call Trump supporters “worshippers” and say we think he’s perfect, in order to suggest we are irrational.
Nobody worships Trump and nobody thinks he’s perfect - and when you said that, it sounded like you were one of them.
You are not part of that, and I apologize.
Yes - he’s being a politician. Take out some of the BS and it reads:
“In my opinion, you have a man, you have a woman. I’ll continue my stance on that.”
Sorry for the mistyping.
Trump proves more every day why he’s no longer fit to be President.
In his speech yesterday he was talking about his election against Obama, and that we’re on the brink of World War 2. Yes 2.
He’s not conservative. Everybody knows that, right? Ran as a Democrat in previous presidential runs?
You don’t need to apologize.
I used the words “he’s not perfect” in response to those posters who instinctively want to defend everything Trump says even when he’s obviously wrong, and then on that basis, say I suffer from TDS or am a never Trumper.
Pointing out someone’s mistake does not necessarily mean one is against that person. In my case, it means there is always room for that person to IMPROVE.
