I have to admit, I was shocked when I first saw this clip.
There’s been a lot of talk about Trump’s recent interview on SiriusXM’s “The Megyn Kelly Show,” but his answer to what may have been one of the most important questions was so horrifying awful, I can’t even wrap my head around it.
During the interview, Megyn Kelly asked Trump a very simple question: “Can a man become a woman?”
Easy, right? The answer is “No, absolutely not.” It’s not complex or complicated. There’s no room for nuance, different points of view, or interpretation. A man cannot become a woman. A woman cannot become a man. There’s no gender spectrum, nor are there more than two genders.
Yet, in response to the easy question, Trump first replied with an “Ummmmmm,” then a chuckle, before saying, “In my opinion, you have a man, you have a woman. I think part of it is birth. Can the man give birth? No, although they’ll come up with some answer to that also someday. I heard just the other day they have a way that now the man can give birth. No, I would say I’ll continue my stance on that.”
What kind of an answer is that? Look, the sad reality is that there is no middle ground on this issue. Trump may be strongly against the mutilation of children by the transgender cult, but it feels like Trump is trying to have it both ways on this transgender nonsense, and you just can’t.
Sure, he banned transgender people in the military and is against giving children puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones and such, but at the root of this issue isn’t merely whether or not a kid has the mental capacity to consent to transitioning,

The root of this issue is the fundamental and basic question of whether a man can become a woman or vice versa. And if you even give the slightest hint that maybe “someday” it might be possible, then you are legitimatize the transgender movement and the entire industry behind it. To make matters worse, Trump also referred to Bruce “Caitlyn” Jenner by feminine pronouns.
He’s being a politician.
The answer to this question is, “no”
God will not be mocked and the wages of sin is always death. This includes society itself.
I think, knowing Trump over the years, he’s just being cagey. He’s basically vaguely saying, “No, but society will eventually figure that out.”
I do not believe he’s lending support to the idea of changeable genders.
You’re kinda never trump, aren’t you?
Not at all. I voted for him twice and will vote for him again in 2024. Why do you ask?
Be grateful Percy Sledge isn’t around to record a woke version of his one hit, “When a Man Becomes a Woman.”
Frankenstein could do it. 🙄 I think he’s saying certain humans want to be GOD. They will try, but no. It won’t work. God gave you an identity, use it for your benefit. It ain’t broke so quit trying to fix it. Azzholes. IMO
He’s no Reagan, but for being from NYC he is amazing. He may very well be far better than what we deserve. Thankfully, we are looking for a President, not a Pope. In both offices presently there are times when perhaps more silence and reflection might be appropriate, but I can recognize that a potential head of a republic that identifies as a democracy may have good reason for maintaining a large public presence on every issue and going with his gut.
I have heard him compared to Cyrus, and that analogy seems apt to me.
Seems like you are saying Trump is legitimatizing the transgender movement.
Yeah. Here’s the thing, the author actually writes “Sure, he banned transgender people in the military and is against giving children puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones and such…”
Things DONE in real life.
But he cares about a nonsense question asked by an idiot.
the root of the issue is grown intelligent men allowing it to become an issue...
This is not the Trump of 2015.
Sounds fake to me...
Why give credence to anything from a Megan Kelly show?
RE: Seems like you are saying Trump is legitimatizing the transgender movement.
Trump, in my view is signaling to Transgenders that he’s tolerant of their lifestyles as ADULTS who can make their own decisions regarding what kind of life they want to live as long as they don’t groom children.
He’s in a sense, no different from DeSantis or even Vivek Ramaswamy.
That was a gotcha question
He answered it
I think that Trump may have an increased gay/LGBT voter following than 2020. Many of whom consider themselves Americans and live in cities being ravaged by crime and homelessness and chaos. Of course they are also suffering from the bite of inflation like everybody else. Why alienate them? Sex change operations have been around for a long time. As long as Trump makes policy that protects the rest of society and doesn’t encourage transgender in youth, I’m good.
Should we make make sex change operations illegal? Is that a winning issue?
“ legitimatizing the transgender movement” was the term you used.
Are you saying that’s what Trump is doing?
“Should we make make sex change operations illegal? “
Yes !
The West has lost the moral self-confidence to prohibit this sort of perverted garbage.
And that is why we are in the state we are in.
I agree but is it a winning issue, though? Trump’s trying to win an election. One thing that I’ve noticed about Trump is he knows his electorate very well and answers questions with that in mind. He’s trying to win.
