Former President Trump told conservative media personality Glenn Beck he would prosecute his political enemies if elected president again.
“You said in 2016, you know, ‘Lock her up,'” Beck reminded Trump of his statements about Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in 2016 during an appearance on his BlazeTV show Tuesday. “And then when you became president, you said, ‘We don’t do that in America. That’s just not the right thing to do.'
“That’s what they’re doing,” Beck continued, asking the former president, “Do you regret not locking her up? And if you’re president again, will you lock people up?”
Trump, who dismissed the various charges he faces in Georgia, New York, Florida and Washington, D.C., said there is “no choice.”
“Well, I’ll give you an example… The answer is you have no choice, because they’re doing it to us,” Trump said, adding that he “never hit Biden as hard as I could have.”

I see President Trump has learned something lately.
Why would anyone that loves the country and wants it restored to its former greatest as the land of the free NOT be okay with that?
Lead is cheaper than fuel to take them to Gitmo. And that’s all commies deserve. Though a rope is re-usable.
An argument can be made, that Trump opened the door, by making the promise to lock people up, in the first place. It’s like that old saying, that you should never just “show” someone your gun, in an attempt to stop an argument. Because as soon as you do, the other person might surprise you by quickly whipping out their own gun, and actually shooting you, instead.
The ultimate of ironies, is that Trump not only let Hillary off, he then went and strengthened those laws about mishandling classified, which he himself is now on the hook for.
Shock jocks like Beck make their living stoking the flames, but I think most of the sensationalism comes from the author at The Hill. Either way, if we truly want the fair and equal application of the law to come back, we’ll have to be equal and fair about the laws being applied to everyone, including our own, no matter who they are.
The fact the Biden , Clinton and most likely Obama actually committed real crimes and Trump did not doesn’t matter to you.
Good idea. ;O)
Well, Obama set the precedent with Dinesh D’Souza.
Biden followed and is continuing this path.
As Mr. Joel once said: “We didn’t start the fire.”
Starting with Gyorgy Schwartz and Hitlery KKKlinton.
Voting our way out of this mess was never an option.
It’s about time. I’d throw in a few hangings too.
First, I’ll say...I plan to vote for Trump if/when he is the nominee....but let’s be honest....Trump still makes terrible personnel decisions. He has done it his entire career....from crappy lawyers in his personal life to the John Bolton’s and Christopher Wray’s of the world. If you don’t believe it, all you have to do is look at his de facto endorsement of Ronna and McCarthy. Unfortunately, I think these terrible personnel decisions are going to bite him again in the form of a weak GOP House and a total incompetent in charge the GOP voter outreach.
Trump made a huge mistake in not going after Hillary.
L
Hang them and then give them a fair trial. In that order.
And what did he get for pulling his punches?
I don’t either. In many ways, The Donald can be a loudly roaring lion as he makes his point, but this same person
has (ironically) a strong sense of loyalty to many people he at one time had accepted as his friends in private life.
See; Omarosa, Keebler Elf, James Comey, Sec of Defense Mark Thomas Esper, Personal Lawyer Mike Cohen, Stephanie Grisham, Stephanie Wolkoff, Oprah WInfrey, who once (half seriously)proposed the two of them run as Pres. and VP.
Chief of Staff John Kelly, V.P. Mike Pence.
As most here know, before running for president, the Trump family and Clinton family were very close, and attended many formal dinners together. There are several such pictures.
Early in his presidency, I didn’t think Trump had it in his heart to actually make ‘Lock-Her-UP!!-Hillary’ happen.
I don’t think he has gotten past the years when his daughter Ivanka was close chums of Chelsea Clinton. Donald may think, I’ve already ruined much of Ivanka’s political potential, for the time being anyway. Her ability to sell those designer clothes, and all that other merchandise. Maybe I don’t want to stamp out her business now, either, as they are slowly recovering from being Cancelled by the Pussy-Hats. Maybe I don’t need to do that right now.”
As in the past “The Princess” usually got her way on playing
White House Influencer.
“Next time will be all better. I won’t make tremendously stupid personnel choices, and I will lock them up as I’ve always said.”
First off, It was not written by Glenn Beck, (but the title makes it seem like it was).
Basically, it tries insinuate that Trump is a hypocrite, for going after his political opponents, after he's been indicted "4 times" (which the article has underlined 🙄).
But IMO, it's not about going after political opponents, but, rather, it's that the majority of the entire government, needs to be investigated for criminal activity, (both parties), and any found, need to be publicly tried for their wrongdoing.
If convicted, they should be given jail, or firing squad, (depending on the severity of their crimes).
(I believe the penalty for treason is 10 years in prison, or death?)
This is the only way to get the country back, and make sure this NEVER happens again.
The politicians are supposed to work for, and be accountable to, the people.
The Bolsheviks at the Hill have no problem with Leticia James running for office saying the same.
My ONLY disappointment with his first term is that he didn’t go after Hildabeast.
Defund and shutter the EPA, Dept of Education and a myriad of other agencies that are not truly government agencies. Just shutter them and withhold funds for all that are not mandated by Congressional approval and Presidential signing, or in the US Constitution. Agriculture, Energy, and many others could disappear along with their jobs.
The wailing and gnashing of teeth would be awesome.
